I can finally enjoy this it seems like. My grandfather died less than a week after we won the series so I wasn't really able to enjoy it too much, because the DVD's don't make it seem "real". Seeing the banner and the Sox back on the field for a regular season game make it feel "real".

So yesterday the trophy was scheduled to be in Gary/Miller and the website listed the time as 4-7. After driving around for about an hour in not the nicest place in the world, we found the US Cellular store (whitesox.com had the location listed as WPI?) and there was nobody there. It turns out that the website posted the wrong time and the trophy was there from 11-2

Greasy, another important thing for Hummel is that a lot of his friends are going to IU and everyone here wants him to go there. If an offer from Duke comes though, he will without a doubt go there. His upside is amazing: tall, long arms, quick release, plays guard. To top it off, he's one of the nicest guys ever. Him and Martin are really nice and have their heads screwed on right. I sit next to Scotty at lunch that's my claim to fame. Edited to add: Don't be discouraged by Hummel's numbers. He is too nice and passes the ball off all the time. The coaches are constantly trying to make him shoot more. After the first loss of the season, I asked Hummel why he passed up a three pointer with 4 seconds to go that would have given us the lead and he said because somebody else was open for a short jumper that would have tied the game. He just needs to realize how good he can be. Oh and don't get too excited about the hat because he has been wearing that hat ever since the fall. It's just a hat that he wears like anyone else. As for Scott, right now he is playing better than Hummel, but our offense is more centered around Scott. He could be reaching his ceiling soon too, but you never know.

Wow I really hope Thome can stay this hot during the regular season. He is on an absolute tear!

Holy cripes. Our rotation is sick not only for this year but for many years to come. I really can't believe how much has gone right for this franchise in the past year.

I haven't read all this thread, but it isn't KW's fault that Hermanson can't remain healthy. Thorton and Logan scare me, but Cotts, Politee, B-Mac, and Jenks should be just as good as last year if not better. I am not too worried. If you don't have good starting pitching, there's no point to having a bullpen because they are there to protect the lead, not to protect the defecit.

I got a Frank Thomas jersey for $9.99 in the gift shop at Tuscon Electric Park a few days ago It's a really nice jersey too, not some s***ty T-Shirt jersey.

Well this is my last game in Tuson. I've been to Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and now today's games. My dad almost caught Thome's home run in the first inning yesterday, you could have seen him jumping around wiht a blue shirt on in left center field. I was sitting with a friend by the sox dugout so unfortunately I wasn't anywhere near it.
