Its very simple really. The left, in 2000, saw their last best chance to control America slip away with the demise of Gore and they are bitter. They are bitter because their man lost the election, bitter because more and more people reject their ideology every day, bitter because their current field of "candidates" worries about being seen as too liberal and bitter because all their infighting this primary season is going to make it that much easier for Bush to win again this year.

Maybe they need something like that nationwide when you have fat slobbos trying to stuff 20 whoppers into their guts then sue when their heart nearly explodes.

If you are not very knowlegeable of the Stock Market and what companies are going to catch fire this year I suggest you put that money in a stock index mutual fund and let it sit there at least that 5 years you mentioned. That's what i do with my cash cause I dont have the time to research individual stocks but I realize that the stock market provides the best rate of return of all investment options out there.

The trouble with cases like this is that it all boils down to a "He said, She said" situation. They obviously got it on but was it consensual? I think Kobe is a scumbag for cheating on his wife like that but is he a rapist? I dont think the evidence is there to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. If any of you saw the movie "Body Shots" that is a striking parallel to whats going on now with this guy.

I could forgive him if he had come clean when the charges first came to light but not now. Not after being lied to by this scumbag for 14 years and with him only telling the truth to hype up his book. What a loser he is and what a travesty it would be if he made the HOF under these circumstances.

I never accused her of any crime, I just said that if she was the slut that the media is making her out to be then her rape charge is very suspect in my eye and its possible she might be shaking him down. Thats all. But the question of whether she was raped or not is better left to a jury with all the evidence and all the facts

Die Hard!!!! That had to have been the best movie trilogy ever made and just slaps the s*** out of everything listed above.

Like I keep saying. It's all about how they start. This team has the talent it needs to be competitive but if they come out shooting blanks and mailing in games against powerhouses like Detroit and Cleveland like they did last season then its going to be a long year. They come out smoking and I think we'll see a repeat of 2000. IMO.

My sympathy for this "victim" is somewhat limited because I read somewhere in the news that she wasn't exactly an angel herself and slept with a number of different men that very week. If thats true then I strongly suspect that she banged him consentually and is playing the rape card to try a shakedown of a guy with a lot of cash. If I had my way I would take a hammer and break every one of both their toes so they'd really have some foot pain to b**** about. This is just another example of the whining of America and how f***ed up our legal system is. If the Judge had any sense at all he'd not only dismiss the case but place the plaintiff in contempt of court for wasting the courts time and fine the living s*** out of them.

If things ever get that bad or that Orweillian (sp) then I'm taking my X-Box (minus the X-Box live equipment ) my DVD's and my TV and moving to Idaho and live on a farm or something. I dont think I could deal with a world where the freekin pizza man knows more about my personal life than I do.
