That's probably because Valentin was benched or shuffeled around by Uncle Jerry the entire season until Roycie finally proved even to Uncle Jerry what a s***bag he was.

That depends on your job. Generally if you dont go right out of basic its pretty tough cause most units dont want to pay to send you. If you stay in then your best shot is to re-enlist to go there. As for Korea its not too bad but sometimes Korea seems like a place where people compete to see who can be the biggest asshole (at least in my unit anyway). Enjoy whatever time you have in Germany then go back to the US. If you have some questions about stuff that's Army related feel free to hit me up on the PM or on the boards. If I'm not in the field or otherwise tied up I'll be happy to help you with whatever you dont feel like talking to your NCO's about.

My favorite thing about this whole situation is how all these same haters actually loved Valentin when we had Royce "The Choice" Clayton playing shortstop. Sure he's overpaid at 5 Mil he hustles his ass off, is a big time force in the locker room, and provides timely, if not consistent, hitting. I, for one, will miss him dearly and I think we'll all come to appreciate him as we go through this next season.

If we dont f*** up and lose Maggs I think we'll be fine. We cant f*** around for half the season like we did last year though.

I dont trust KW to do that at all. He needs to lock up Maggs now. The fans love him and he'll stay of we pay him what he's worth. He's been carrying this team on his back for 3 seasons straight now I think its time we rewarded him for that.

Slackhawk apologists whine about how you shouldn support the team even when things aren't going well, but the management brought this whole mess on themselves. Dollar Bill ran all his good players outta town the moment they asked for what they were worth and look at whats left. The word is out about this team too. No superstar player in his right mind would want to play here these days and I cant say I blame them. This team is done for. When you bury the Slackhawks after the lockout meltdown you can write on their tombstone "Died for a few dollars more".

If JR thinks attendance is bad now jus wait till you see all the empty seats after he starts dumping salary. If he wants a commitment from the fans maybe he should start by commiting to his key players. Locking up MB was a good start but if we dont keep Maggs we are going to be in a world of hurt.
