All Sunday/Monday night games should be outdoors. They're so much cooler that way.

term limits for moderators?
OK mr. 85 posts it is apparent that you are much more qualified to speak on whether this place has democracy than say, me, who has been here for 3 years.

I'll make sure to do that. Thank you for the guidance. While I'm doing that, why don't you take a college creative writing class.

We need a smiley of a broken record that you can use. That way you won't have to bother typing out the same old s*** every time.

Bulls preview
The East is weak beyond Shaq, Z, and Magloire. I know Wallace is valuable, but I consider him a PF, even though he plays center because they dont have a half-decent center and they have Sheed. Ideally, at 6'9", he would play the 4. Dalembert is alright, but he needs to bulk up if he's going to be a force. He'd get worn out in the West. I was looking at complete, offensive and defensive aspects. As I see it, the West has more all-around guys.

I know the whole league is weak at the C position. Thats why I was saying Curry should be ranked a little higher, he could be really effective. That said, the East is still weaker. I even forgot about the Hornets being in the West now, so Magloire makes the west even stronger. East Shaq Wallace Z Curry Blount Dalembert/Skinner Jeff Foster? West Yao Miller Magloire Dampier Camby Divac Ratliff Swift The whole league is lacking big men, but I'd still say the West is deeper. Centers in Shaq's division now = Kelvin Cato, Brendan Haywood, Predrag Drobnjak and Jahidi White. That's ten times weaker than Miller, Divac, Foyle, and Kaman. And regarding your condescending comments about Bill Russell and devistating defenders at the center position being how you win championships. It is possible to do it without one - check out Bill Cartwright. Though I shouldn't have to tell a Chicagoan this.

When will it be over? Election 2004
I think it will be close but Kerry takes it. Probably one recount though.

I agree with those rankings, for the most part. Though I don't know about Deng being a 6 right away. He only played one year at Duke, he's still really young. He'll be good, but he's gonna have to adjust to the pros for now. Curry might be a 7 if he's in really good shape like he's supposed to be. The East is weak at the center position after Shaq, Z and Magloire. Nocioni as a 7 might be a stretch too. I saw Pierce do him up pretty good in the preseason, but then again it was Paul Pierce.

First of all, you probably didn't even read it. Second of all, your statement can't be true because you obviously didn't know anything about it.

Pedro's asking price
First of all, if these playoffs have proven anything it's that the Glendon Rusches of the world don't get it done when it counts. You need good starters, and you need lots of them. Second of all, cap room??

I want that fun too!!!
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...second/guessing Eric Neel: "The fight now for suffering supremacy shifts to Chicago, doesn't it? And forget the Cubs for a minute. I'm thinking of the White Sox. Haven't won the Series since 1917, haven't reached the World Series since 1959. And unlike their slightly yuppier brethren on the North Side, Sox fans, by and large, are working on the deep, common-folk channels of heartache and want-to. The media story has been the Cubs, and the Cubs are, by a wide margin, Chicago's team, but to me, it's the White Sox Nation who ought to become America's team now." Though it's a nice thought, I doubt it will ever happen. Might be fun, even though we are above sympathy (mmyes), to have people know who we are. I can walk around campus with my White Sox hat on and people think it's a Red Sox hat.

GOP Criticial of Student Vote Campaign
"Larry Marx, co-executive director of Wisconsin Citizen Action, denied there is any partisanship to the effort, despite the fact the advocacy group supports Democratic Sen. John Kerry" Credibility last seen flying out of the window. I don't care either way, but really, who do you think voting advocacy groups are going after? Old people? Middle-aged taxpayers? I think not.
