For what it is worth, I heard it on ESPN 1000 earlier today; Bruce Levine reporting that the Sox still are interested in Iguchi. He also reported that Maggs isn't even close to showing off his knee to any Major League team doctor. Maggs really screwed himself by not taking the deal that Kenny offered him last year.

If I remember correctly, we always made him look like a Hall of Fame pitcher, we could never touch him. I always liked him and would welcome him here.

ESPN Insider reports that the White Sox are one of several teams that may be interested in Rich Aurelia. What do you think, if you can get him for cheap, play him at short and move Uribe to second, its better than Willie.

I'm not in favor of paying top $ for Clement, I would rather have Lowe or Burnett, however, and I am not a Cub fan, when Wood and Prior were out at the beginning of last year, Maddux was not great, Clement was the one that kept the Flubs in the race.

Why not deal directly with the Marlins, Ozzie has a good relationship with them, deal Garland and PK for AJ and Castillo, if you want to throw in "PEAPOD", I wouldn't be upset.

How bout PK and Judy for AJ and the 2nd baseman, his name escapes me, Castillo, and this frees up $ to sign a Delgado, you can even throw in Willie.

I am seeing rumors that Lee will be part of the 3 way deal involving Vazquez and Randy Johnson instead of Konerko and Garland.

In closing the announcer stated that Cleveland still is the frontrunner.

Isn't it frickin sad that the newly Washington team can get more and better players than us, a "big market" city like Chicago. So far, Guillen, Castilla, and Guzman, I would take any of the 3.
