  1. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) Pssh, I wanted them to win but oh well. I'm just tired of your lack of baseball knowledge, YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WAT A PERFECT GAME WAS. Its alright...better to lose to the Mavs than to lose to the eventual NBA Champion CLIPPERS
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:25 PM) LOLLOOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Pablo is so awesome. The emotion he has whenever he makes a play is just incredible. What a great guy to have on our team! The Paco Martin of the 2000's
  3. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) This game couldn't have been written any better. As a White Sox fan first and also as a Frank fan, it'll take awhile to come off this baseball high. And the Frank hater that owns Soxtalk has put out an open invitation for a banner in honor of Frank for the rest of the series. How bout them apples for ya
  4. Nice come from behind win. Apparently Garland battled through things and the Sox were able to overcome a great day at the plate by the Big Hurt with some late inning heroics and a sweet squeeze play by Pablo to win the game. Also, the site is about as packed as its been all season.
  5. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:19 PM) Pods is no where near the bunter that Pablo is. Pods doesn't bunt enough anymore. But Pods isn't as fast as Pablo either.
  6. QUOTE(JimH @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:17 PM) Big win, Frank gets the HR he wanted, two actually, White Sox win. Couldn't be more perfect than that. And for them to win on a squeeze bunt on Frank Thomas' big day back, with Frank hitting two deep, wow do I find that ironic. Lets not forget Frank popping up when a sac fly would have given them a lead. Of course not knocking Frank, he played his best game in an A's uniform.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:16 PM) How about a Pablo Ozuna banner? Ozuna great tonight...but Frank is a legend and he deserves some honor on the Soxtalk banner since he's back.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:16 PM) He's only terrible on defense. He'd be a perfect DH....without the power. If Timo could DH, Pablo could. Plus Pablo would lead the world in hitting if he were playing every day.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:16 PM) Also...tremendous hustle by AJP going from first to third on that hit by Mackowiak. Yep, right when that ball hit off Scutaro's glove I was hoping AJ would be busting into 3rd. Job well done all around in that final inning. Man thats about as sweet of a way to win the game as anything. I love executing and thats why I'm a Pablo fan (even though I don't like the idea of him out on the field defensively late in a close ball game).

    Ehhhh....finals do that to ya
  11. QUOTE(JimH @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:14 PM) Not all of them. And to think If I were managing it would have been Pods up. Thats why Rock Raines or whoever replaced Ozzie (yet was simply doing what Ozzie told him) is wiser than me.
  12. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:14 PM) I bet Beane is pissing his pants over losing on a BUNT!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! MONEYBALL 0 SOX 1 (I'm talking in terms of RINGS)
  13. I LOVE DJ...he called it and thats a way to win...winning on fundementals. Ignore my last post, hit a bunch of buttons in excitement.
  14. [quote name='illinilaw08' date='May 22, 2 d with a bunt. And hawk agreses with you fathom SOX WIN
  15. Mack 1st and 3rds em with Pablo due up.
  16. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:11 PM) Rob Mack. Cool...he was due for his first HR. Mack back up...could he be a double hero. Uribe flies out to Kotsay (hit it solidly at least).
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:09 PM) So you like Uribe's chances? Exactly...he's liable to pull one of them changeups right on out of here. AJP figures it out and draws the walk.
  18. Horrid swing by AJ. For a guy with a high ERA, he is fooling the first two batters thus far. Seems like the type of guy you got to let come to you.
  19. And Crede pops up the change. We knew it was coming. This guy seems to have a good changeup. AJP due up.

I'd like someone to make a banner with Frank in an A's uni and a Sox uni with something like Thanks for all the years. Same size as the current site banners. Thanks so much
  21. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 22, 2006 -> 08:04 PM) I still cant understand how people dont have faith in Bob. How could you not have faith in Bobs Big Boy
  22. SIT EM DOWN...whiffs looking on a curve.
  23. Nice, actually called that 2nd pitch a strike (bout time we get a call). Lucky Crosby wasn't swinging though cause it was a hanger.
