QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 10, 2006 -> 03:50 PM) That's why they call you the man. Well I ran a quick test anyway on mozilla and had no problem. Here is a little thing they say if you have trouble. Do you guys have javascript cause you need that for the chat to work.

QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 10, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) Ya, I was just going to say, Jas you may want to check the permissions on the chat. I still didn't get it to work here, but maybe its a Mozilla problem for me or the fact that I'm working on my work computer. I also noticed that when I click Today's top 10 posters, it doesn't work. Top 10 has not worked. Its associated with the same problem as the search. Maybe the chat just doesn't work with Mozilla. I'll run a test in mozilla in a bit, but right now I'm working on creating a custom skin.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 10, 2006 -> 03:04 PM) When I click live chat at the top I get.. Try logging off and than logging back in, cause it works for me.

I lied on the gallery. I looked at the ones available and they don't look very impressive at all. We may find a different type of one in the future.

You will see we have a new chat and the link is up on the forums. Its not quite as fancy as our original one, but I think this one is adequate. You need javascript to use this and only logged in members will be able to see the link (apparently, I've yet to test that). Hope you all enjoy it. We are also contemplating the addition of a gallery for people to post stuff.

I'm working on finding out the extent of the injury. -
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 10, 2006 -> 08:38 AM) Ok, so I just replied to 1 person's quote in a thread, posted it, then replied to another person's quote, and the system joined those 2 posts together automatically. Is that normal? Because if it is, it's really cool. Yep, it is normal and very cool, especially for the person who posts like myself where as you read a thread you reply to quotes. Ahhh...the smilies look so much better. Great Work Alex.

QUOTE(Felix @ May 9, 2006 -> 09:12 PM) works in FF here All polls should work in both FF and IE now. I was able to restore them this morning.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 10, 2006 -> 01:28 AM) you 2 need to get different avatars..... At first I thought one person was just talking to themselves in 5 posts. We fixed that. We made a new member name (FutureSox.com) to post all the stories from now on. -
I've fixed it so the old poll results are now working for both Mozilla and IE users So now aside from coming up with a new Sox colored skin, we are pretty much set!!!! Well that and finding a way to make the clickable smilies look better.

QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ May 10, 2006 -> 07:37 AM) I thought his arbitration year was this year, and he was going to be a free agent this off-season? Does he have another arbitration year? Oh well my bad. Either way why not sign him up long term. CWSOX45 I think we have him for 2 more years.
-
Well I'm off, but if anyone runs into anything new, post it here and Myself or Alex will try and get it taken care of. Tomorrow Alex and I will be working on getting some new skins (Mainly Alex).

QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 9, 2006 -> 09:15 PM) This is part of the really freaking cool option that will auto import an RSS feed into a forum. It'll auto-import all FutureSox stories now. Badass...is there a way for them to be Auto Pinned? -
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 9, 2006 -> 09:18 PM) Clear cache works, sweet Ya, I think it was just pulling up the old edit banner instead of the new one.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060426 Firefox/1.5.0.3 That is what I'm running. Try clearing your cache and seeing if that fixes the problem.

Warthogs Waste A Nice Pitching Performance by Lucas Harrel Press Release From Winston Salem Warthogs Winston-Salem, NC The cloudy skies and the Warthogs lead both dissipated as the day turned to night at Ernie Shore Field. A dreary afternoon with rain developed into a dry and delightful evening for baseball in Winston-Salem. The results for the Warthogs looked just as promising early, before a late-inning Wilmington rally gave the Blue Rocks a 4-2 victory in front of 4,943 fans. http://www.futuresox.com/frontpage/modules...article&sid=275

By the way, Alex, have you tried importing a skin lately? Just asking because I'm going to give it a shot in a few minutes. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 9, 2006 -> 09:13 PM) It's not a big deal, because I can still edit the way we're all used to. However, quick edit's still not working on FireFox for me. I think that could be your browser not being completely updated. One thing you all should check out is the new easy ass way to edit topic titles and the 2nd line of topic titles. YOu cna pretty much just click and edit. Its freaking AWESOME.

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 9, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) So that means we gotta stick with blue or am I missing something? For a few hr's, than we will have some temporary skins up, but we want to do things right and it may take a few days for us to make something completely custom and hopefully that skin will work well with both firefox and IE. In regards to the polls, you'll be happy to know that Polls do work with FireFox, however, old polls (pre upgrade) are the only ones that only work with IE. Also the QUICK EDIT Feature DOES WORK IN FIREFOX. If your are having trouble finding the quick edit feature, click on edit and than you should see the option come up. If not, make sure you are running an updated version of FireFox. The Poll upgrade didn't go smoothly and thats why people can't see the old polls. So take note that neither IE or Mozilla work with old polls. It looks more likely that Soxtalk will work pretty good whether you use Mozilla or IE.
