QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) Is "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" cancelled? I heard it was on hiatus. That show was a f***ing gag. I liked that show. I was thinking they just had a short season and that it was going to be back, but maybe it won't.

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 08:39 AM) If that's the case, Frank better be invited as well. Don't hold your breath.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:15 PM) And Jason gets his first prediction right of the year. Illini fans should remember last year. From the first day of the season I said UNC beats the Illini in the finals. And I was ding ding ding...correct. But this is the new year so I had to finally get something right.

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) Yeah I'm in for the first time since about 11:30 am. f***ed up thing is I tested soxtalk on a brand new machine to see if it was just my computer...and that machine got hammered with spyware. I had to rebuild it from scratch it was so bad. I couldn't even boot into safe mode. Glad it wasn't my machine. Somehow a script got inserted right above the google ads. I removed it and checked the other skins and saw nothing. Going to make sure an update the security on this site and get the passwords changed as a precaution. I know a while back PHPBB had a lot of problems with security flaws but IPB is supposed to be very good on that front (Vbulletin is too). Whatever it was it appears to be fixed but I'm going to do what I can to protect it from happening in the future.

I just tried it on my IE (earlier I had gotten the glitch) and it worked ok with me. Everything should be back to normal, but If anyone is still encountering any trouble please make a post here or PM or email me.

Hey CC I think I just fixed it. It looks like someone (maybe a hacker) put a script into this skin. I just removed it, but was going to see if that fixed things on your end?

Some sort of warning message or gibberish text with the browser freezing up. I just want you to know that we are working on it right now. I have no idea what it is, but am trying to figure it out.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 11:45 PM) I don't think it really matters Dwight Howard doesn't have that much of a post game at the moment because he's become such a monster already in terms of rebounding, putbacks etc. that he'll be a big asset to that team. He did get posterized by Lamar though. -
Someone may want to asky Spiffy. He's a big Giants fan.

Who are you picking to win it all?

Count me in as someone rooting for SIU. Its where my mom went to school (actually just found this out) so I wouldn't mind seeing them win. And just cause its an Iowa school I hope UNI does well too. -
Told you all we would win. Hinrich whooped some serious butt tonight.

Everything is fixed and working properly

The Articles aren't working right now. May not be fixed till tomorrow cause I just got busy. Just wanted to inform everyone that I realize it and will get things fixed by tomorrow (at the latest).

Just want to warn everyone that you may see a little outage while I am performing an upgrade to the front page.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 05:52 PM) Please tell me Tyson didn't start at the 5...PLEASE They have been announcing him at the 5 for a while now.

Guaranteeing a win tonight for the mighty Bulls. On NBATV some guy was on and they were talking about potential destinations for KG this offseason and said the Bulls had to be the front runner. They have the young talent, cap room, and draft picks. Plus KG is from the area and would have zero problem coming back home. If they could somehow keep Hinrich and Deng (give up both picks for all I care) and get KG I would be ecstatic. Regardless even if instead they have Hinrich/KG/Chandler I'll still be exstatic. Gordon, draft picks and Noc. Plus a future #1.

Thats the beauty in short selling. But I think a lot of people thought it was over valued a couple weeks after its IPO and those people would have gotten killed had they shorted at that date and had they unloaded at that date they would have missed out on more profits. In general the trends of IPO's taking off seems to be back.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 03:10 PM) My picks: Freshmen of the Year: Jamelle Cornley PSU: No contest. Newcomer of the Year: Marco Killingsworth IU: Yeah he's a senior, but also a newcomer and this one is also no contest Coach of the Year: Bo Ryan of Wisky as long as they at least split their last 2 games to go 10-6. That team has VERY VERY little besides Tucker and Taylor. Yes they are 2 great players, but this team's already poor depth was hurt losing 2 rotation players earlier this year, and they really came back from the dead to have a nice season. I know everybody will vote Thad and some for Alford, but both are blessed with senior laden, talented teams. However Thad will win, and that's cool with me. Defensive POY: Brian Randle ILL: Only averages 27.4 MPG because of foul trouble, but is by far the best defender in the league, and the 27 MPG are enough for me to give him the award. MOP: Vedran Vukusic NW: Most Outstanding Player in the league by a mile. He's double and triple teamed every game, yet still leads the league in scoring while shooting a more than respectable 50.4 percent from the field despite few easy baskets. He might be the MVP of the league too considering how awful NW would be without him, but I just can't get myself to give him that award. MVP: Terence Dials OSU: Simply put, the best player on the best team. Everything OSU does involves him, he's the best defender on the team, he's a major force on both ends, his interior dominance forces the other team to either let him keep dominating one on one, or double team him, giving open looks to those deadly OSU shooters. All Big Ten First Team: C Terence Dials OSU (not sure if he's technically a C, but close enough) F Vedran Vukusic NW F Alando Tucker Wisc G Daniel Horton UM G Dee Brown ILL All Big Ten Second Team: C Paul Davis MSU F James Augustine ILL F Greg Brunner Iowa G Shannon Brown MSU G Maurice Ager MSU All Big Ten Third Team: F Marco Killingsworth IU (loses focus too damn much) F Robert Vaden IU (same story as his teammate) F Geary Claxton PSU (picked the wrong year to be a good forward) G Kammron Taylor Wisc (explosive, but not always consistent) G Je'Kel Foster OSU (TAKE MORE SHOTS DUDE!!) Just my opinion, feel free to rip away. Btw, if Michigan State played defense at all, at least one of their three 2nd teamers would be a level up (I didn't want to put Dee Brown on the 1st team, he hasn't been all that great). Defensive player of the year...ERIK Hansen. The best defensive big man in the conference and one of the best in the country. -
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 04:37 PM) FALSE! Thats more along the lines of what I heard. It sounded like the ratings had been strong for Scrubs this season and that it was likely going to be brought back. NBC has also been pretty consistent playing it on Tuesdays this season. I love the 2 in one night too.

QUOTE(HoosierSox @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) I didnt realize we had Clayton Richard. Didnt he play QB for Michigan. What kind of prospect is he. Ya, was a QB at Michigan (I don't think he really played though). He's a pretty solid prospect. Good arm, a little raw, but had a pretty good debut.

QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 03:07 PM) NBC would have canceled "House" by now if it had chosen it over "Medical Examination". I've always wondered why the hell House (one of my favorite shows on TV) was made by NBC yet airs on Fox.

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 02:58 PM) The Show "Men Behaving Badly" starring Rob Schneider, Ron Eldard, and Justine Bateman. I really want that to come to DVD soon. Men Behaving Badly Info YESSS I was actually talking to a friend last week and that show came up. He was telling me it wasn't cancelled but something dealing with Ron Eldard (I think it was him) not wanting to do the show again. It was freaking hillarious.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) The last scene was pretty good, where the QB and his girl are hiding and the gunman finds them. It is just a scene that leaves a sick feeling in your stomach. But you are absolutely right, the movie is insanely boring. Ya, you could just fast forward till the end and watch the last 5 minutes and figure the whole movie out from there. Totally retard. I don't know why I actually sat through and watched the whole thing. I think I was home sick so I had nothing better to do.
