I throw up at the idea of Ed Farmer anywhere near the broadcasts. I've never ever been a fan and him doing PBP is gonna be bad. If North is involved it will be even worse. Why didn't they get rid of Farmer and keep Rooney. That would have been nice.

I wonder how well he'll be able to communicate with the pitchers here?

This year two guys I think would be good candidates are Nathan Chandler (TE of the Hawkeyes) and Solomon (WR of the Hawkeyes). I think both will be mid round to late round draft picks and both have some skills. Chandler is a good athlete (maybe he'll go in the 3rd round) and Solomon had some injuries earlier in the year but probably has 2nd round potential although I doubt he'll go that high. Fasano at ND would be another great candidate but I think he'll go early 2nd while Maurice Stovall has definately seen his stock rise and he's probably a mid to late 2nd rounder.

Ya he is. I just got back from the game and despite Kobe going off, Deng should be starting. Holy cripes did he play some really nice D on Kobe when he was in there. I was dissapointed about two things. The Bulls stopped going down low to Sweentey when Bynum was in the game. He could have destroyed him. Secondly, they had both Hinrich and Duhon on Kobe for a few minute stretch at the end of the 2nd quarter (Kobe was going off during this point) while Deng was on the court (no reason for that, none). Fun game to watch, me and my dad were going back and forth and I must admit when the Lakers took that big lead in the 4th I thought we were toast. Duhon came up huge (as did Hinrich and Sweetney). Chandler played a lot better too tonight. I finally got to see a win at one of the Bulls games I attended.

Speaking of nice plays, Chris Harris' diving stop in the endzone was awesome. WHen I saw the play happening I thought it was 6 points for sure.

What a f***ing win. That defense played its best game in years against a very good Panther offense. The offense looked pretty good too (despite just 13 points). Gage is really starting to emerge as a 2nd receiver and man how awesome was his grab on the sidelines to keep the drive going late in the 4th quarter. Mushin had a couple costly drops but the Bears picked him up and Orton was really on target the entire game (with exception to the tipped interception, that was a bad pass).
