QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 10:19 AM) That's the hitters eye. Watch the ball right after it is released and if it is red, its a curveball/splitter, white is fastball, and green is offspeed. It took me a while to figure that out because I didn't read the manual, but it really helped my hitting. I just sit on fastballs and slap line drives all over. WTF, I had no idea of this hitters eye your talking about. Jesus, I'm a moron. I'd of never of known this if I hadn't actually read this.

QUOTE(El Piervizdyeguchansodnik @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) Wouldn't that be nice if Harris excels at short? It would be freaking fantastic. I'm doubting he has the arm strength to be a starter for any extended period. At the same time David Eckstein never had the arm strenght to be a great SS, yet fielding% wise he was among the best in the businss and Chone Figgins sure as hell didn't have the arm to play 3rd base. The Angels managed. I know one thing, Willie Harris, if given another starting spot is going to be a good ballplayer.

Noc came up big tonight, imo. I actually think this is a stretch where we can really see Noc develop into the type of player he can be, which in my opinion is a pretty darn good NBA player. He's just got to get some confidence and rhythm going offensively cause he's not near as bad of a shooter as he's shown thus far this season. Its gonna happen this stretch so I'm hoping the Bulls can win without Deng and Noc can improve and then the Bulls will be even better when Deng returns. Thats my hope at least.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 08:01 PM) Hinrich is unclutch like he has been all year, Spurs ball, Manu shoots. Hits. Game. Goodnight. Umm, there has been countless games where Hinrich has drained key jumpers down the stretch when the team was failing. He had a rough game tonight, but he was playing in foul trouble just like Curry and Chandler were.
-
Hinrich misses a runner and that will end the ball game. Bulls foul Ginobili with 11 seconds left and he's gonna make his free throws. Bulls did a hell of a job coming back from 17 down. If anyone had any doubt as to whether the Bulls can play with the best in the league, it was made obvious that they can play with the best. However, its still a loss and they still did a lot of things really sloppy tonight. Gordon hits the 3 making it a 3 point game with 4 seconds remaining. Ginobili fouled with 2.7 left.
-
f***, Duncan sinks them both.
-
The Bulls foul the right man with 22.4 seconds left. That would be Tim Duncan. He's 5-5 and he's gonna miss at least one giving the Bulls a shot. This games gonna go OT, I can feel it.
-
Spurs take the lead and then they call Duhon out of bounds with 23.2 seconds left so the Bulls will have to foul down 96-94. Poorly called game but maybe the Spurs will miss some free throws and something will happen. Bulls showed so much heart and ability to bring it back. Come on Chicago, somehow come back.
-
Bulls took the lead by 2 when Gordon hit a jumper. Then the Spurs got an offensive rebound and scored to tie it up. Bulls go back down and Hinrich moves and they call AD for an offensive foul which I thought was a little picky. Said it was an illegal screen but it looked solid to me. Bulls get the ball back though 94-94 with 1:01 left to play.
-
Bulls have this game tied up. Gordon with 10 points but Chandler just picked up his 5th foul. Parker just put in a bucket and the Spurs are up 2 with 3:30 to go.
-
Its been down to 5 now with 7:45 left in the game.
-
They got it done to 7 and made it interesting but Gordon is turning the ball over left and right, despite the fact he's at least shooting decent this quarter. He's got a long way to go before he's a good NBA player. Its 6 right now early in the 4th.
-
Very encouraging sign, it would be great to get the old Kris Honel back, but I'm not gonna count on it with just one outing. I'm encouraged at least a bit because I think a large part of his issues last year were mental.
-
The 1st quarter was probably one of the best played quarters by the Bulls all year and the 2nd was well, forgettable. Of course there seemed to be some really tick-tack foul calls. Bulls are in trouble though and its too bad because I think they match up well against the Spurs. I still think they could battle back into this, but Hinrich, Curry and Chandler are going to have to play careful basketball and thats not good considering how Parker is driving all over them and Duncan is gonna be able to take advantage of two big men that are gonna be protective.
-
Supposedly they made an offer to Ike Reese yesterday although the Eagles also want to retain him.
-
Personally i think it would be absolutely foolish for the Sox to deal Harris. Considering you could have Crede struggle at 3rd or Iguchi struggle at 2nd or even an injury Harris is what I'd deem a valuable asset since I fully believe he's capable of starting at 2nd base and that may happen. Plus he had a .360 or so OBP against righties last year.
-
Ya, that 50 was absolute hell, especially since you guys had to deal with me cause I'm a royal pain in the ass in regards to being so slow at getting stuff formatted. Looking forward to next time around Cerb, missed not having your normal insight on this one. Of course there was plenty of debate coming up with the numbers.

I figured early morning not many people have plans. Cause its tough to make it work for everyone. Anyway, Porzio's keepers are: Prior Tejada Beltre Carl Crawford On a sidenote, for those that won't be there for the draft, I'm gonna have a whole keeper list done tonigth and you need by hand move those guys away from your pick list so you don't auto draft them.
-
League has been filled and I'm gonna make a list of the keepers for every team nad post them so hopefully I have everyones minus the few players that will be straight drafting. I need to do this to ensure that I can figure out away around the accidental draft by someone not there.
-
Cheesecake Factory. Don't go there much but every once in a while I do and its so damn good. They have a whole book of af menu to so you could get something different pretty much everyday. I'd be a real fatass though after a few weeks of that.
-
Would you guys prefer that? Then we can do it at whatever time possible. We got to decide by Saturday. I really have no problem with that. Actually regardless we should do it that way, but we have to make sure everyone is there because there is no auto draft feature.

OMG, Fullerton almost beat a top 25 team. Lost by 4 to Pacific. I'm telling you, they may just pull a shocker at the Big West tourney and actually make the NCAA tournament -
We will be debuting a new chatroom right around opening day to go with a brand new server which is gonna be way badass

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 09:50 PM) This sentence pissed me off What? Willie Harris gets on base at a .360 clip vs. righties, and can steal bases. Timo Perez? how is this guy blocking Willie? He hardly broke the Bowa Barrier last year vs. righties(.264/.301/.368)... I railed on the need to get a platoon partner for willie in the off-season. After all he's terrible vs. LHP. (.186/.234/.233) Yet, demonstrating his prodigious ability in outmaking, Timo is even more inept in that department too(.154/.201/.191) Timo blocking Willie! What a f***ing joke.
