I love Luol Deng. I think he's a similar player to Carmelo Anthony. I've said it once before. Neither wow you when you watch a minute, but they both are able to play on the outside and inside, get boards, get tip backs and really help their teams. If you can't tell I've became a huge DENG fan. I'm also a huge Hinrich fan and like the way Curry/Chandler seem to be playing today and the last game.

Jermaine Dye. I heard this thing on the radio today and they were saying how Dye was playing pretty banged up during the 2nd half of the season (hand injury or something). I think someone else posted something on this as well. But he has good power and he was playing at a big time pitcher park (Oakland). I think he would do .275, 30, 90 in Chicago. Plus he plays a good RF. If the Sox trade Lee, then I expect Everett in left, Rowand in CF and Dye in RF. That would be a nice OF, imo. Although you have injury concerns in Everett and Dye, but I think Dye is back from his leg injury and should only get better this year.

Bulls need to BOX out. Way too many second shots. That and they aren't getting the loose balls.

Ben Gordon did a lousy job on that fast break. Deng was sprinting down and would of had an easy dunk. Luckily Deng got the put back after Gordon missed the layup. WOW as I say that Gordon throws a lob to Chandler who throws it down
-
Too bad he's made a few horrible passes that have led to Kings fast break points.

Well I have some bias, they are my team. I also called the Titan and Giant games and was pissed at the Washington/Detroit games cause the Bears should of won both of those games. As far as the Packer game, that one definately surprised me. But I try to call things like I see them and I see the Bears as an awesome defense and with Thomas Jones a better offense. Jones has the ability to make plays from anywhere on the field and that should really help Krenzel and the rest of the offense.

Rowand may not be the best bunter, but you ask him to bunt next year and tell him now and he'll work his ass of and turn into a good bunter. He may not walk as mcuh as you'd like but he's improving as a contact hitter (he still strikes out a little more then you'd like as a 2 hole hitter) but he has great power for a two hole spot and is a doubles machine. Plus he's a very good baserunner and as a whole would have a high OBP/AVERAGE, run production numbers from the 2 hole. As far as Willie goes, he has a good eye, good speed and a decent swing. He just lacks confidence and agressiveness at the plate (agressiveness in meaning actually ripping the ball) and I do think he can be pretty productive. Of cousre like I've said, Kendall would look really good too.

Nah, Kings are beatable and the Bulls are going to get their first win on this west coast road trip in like 5 years.

Personally I won't vote for a DH when Vladdy single-handedly carried his team in both the first month (although he had Guillens help in April) and then the final couple weeks of the season.

Haha, I have to watch this for class. My professor is recording it though so I can watch the Bulls game for now But Walmart really is a company that I think a lot of people will be studying for a long time in their masters programs, etc.

OMG, thats just hillarious Spiff. I can't stop laughing, haha.

Ya that would be great. Its too bad he lost his mom. Levine is a class reporter. I wish him the best.

No I brought up this same fact about a week ago and at least a few other people are thinking the same way we are

He would be worth 2-3 million as a flexible option (He'll get more), but isn't Ramiro Mendoza out there as well. He could be a solid reliever/5th starter to pick up as a low risk high reward guy (That is if he's healthy). I'm thinking he's a FA, but I could be completely wrong.

I think they do. Kenny constantly refers to his 3 year organizational list and how he will not trade players on it. Miguel Olivo is the only guy he had on that list that he dealt. Of course I still highly doubt Jeremy Reed wasn't on that list, but oh well. The big question is does he only have one plan in mind and when the guy he wants goes elsewhere he'll take another guy who fits into that same peg, but not really to the best benefit of the club. Since I believe he was pretty much non existent in Guzman (media may say one thing, but I don't think the Sox were ever that intersted in him; they just speculated the Sox were desperate for a ss and would be the team bidding big bucks for Guz) it at least makes me hopeful he isn't going to go this route. However, part of me thinks Ozzie is a really stubborn person (ala Kenny) and they both kind of write guys off and may never dilvuge into their stats. I hope this is not the case, but I tend to get this belief from Ozzie more then I do Kenny. I mean I still think Guzman was essentially a Ozzie Guillen clone and that ain't worth 5 mill a year

I still say I have no problem with keeping this offense the same, signing a FA pitcher, maybe signing a guy like Jermaine Dye, and adding a reliever. I just don't know if the Sox can do all that without making a trade (ie moving some payroll). However, I don't think our offense or leadoff spot is as bad as Kenny thinks it is. It is far from great, but the rest of the offense can make up for it and I have belief in Harris/Uribe with one leading off and the other near the back of the order with Rowand sticking in the 2 slot. However, I would also have no problem moving Konerko and adding Kendall and Polanco to the top of the lineup. That gives the Sox a legit top of the order while losing a power bat, but you have Gload to step in. Plus the Sox have EVerett as a backup plan eventually while adding Dye or Hildalgo at an affordable deal. Once again Sox still need to find a pitcher, but even if the Sox don't add a pitcher and do that, they should have the offense to compete and 4 starters that will keep the Sox in the games. Maybe they just look to Elo as a #5 or something cheap and if the Sox are in it go agressive for RJ or whoever. All I'm saying is their are still a ton of different ways Kenny can look at things.

If the Bears had Urlacher I'd really be intrigued. I still am, but Indy is going to have to play a bad game and the Bears are going to have to play out of their minds. But the Bears can not turn the football over or make stupid mistakes. Their offense is going to have to do a good job keeping the ball in their hands as well as score. Time of Possession will be key because you can't give Peyton and their offense too many opportunities.

For 3-4 mill a year...HECK YA.
-
Miguel Cairo would be pretty solid, but I would have to think the Yanks would offer him some decent money because he was pretty valuable for them. But hell ya I'd take him. In fact, I think he's even better then EY who I was a fan of acquiring (thanks to cheat).

Ya, were planning on a switch during thanksgiving break. Once that happens the bugs will be worked out. I use Mozilla so I'll be happy when the switch is completed. We had just been waiting till a more stable release was out, since the last time I ran the upgrade script our board was too big (I needed to do the manual upgrade, but it wasn't in the writeup I was reading).

Its all good, I'm just studying for a test while listening to this streaming audio.

Probably that with nothing eminent they figured it would be best to have a general sports show.
-
Thus far they have just talked about the Bulls. Mainly about STojachavic.
-
Ya, but you guys can also look on yahoo and its still up there too.

I'll tell you one thing. Vladdy is s*** defensively. The only thing he has is his arm and as many runs as he saves with it, he gives up by trying to show of his arm and miss the cutoff man.
