I know the reason we won the cold war is becuase our military was vastly superior to that of communist Russias, but the closeness to a war was their and their is no denying the fact that John Kerry has been on the wrong side of almost every major defense issue.

Fine, if everyone went along with Kerry's plans, who knows how the cold war would of ended. I know one thing, I wouldn't want to know.

Typically beat reporters check everything from what I know. Once they see something that comes from someone they think is legit, they'll go and easily have the contacts to call and verify it or at least see if their is any truth to it. From their it spreads.

You should go Steff. World Series are awesome. I was lucky enough to go to the Padres-Yanks game down in San Diego a few years back and wow its the most fun I've ever had at a baseball game.

Fields really came on strong as the season progressed and in general defensively he made some improvements as well. I'm looking forward to what he can do with a full season. He should make some positive developments as well.

Couch isn't a bad pickup. He was injured when he was with the Packers earlier in the year so if he's healthy he wouldn't be a bad pickup at all.

Text was a Georgia Tech and was an amazing college hitter. Never has been known for his defense and it was assumed he would likely move to left or 1st. Then again, I don't think Hinske is exactly great defensively.

You shouldn't of started that soon. Thats at least my philosphy. For me, my dad taught me to throw a FB, Change and I developed a knuckler (although I can't throw it for s*** anymore). The key when your young is just getting good command and mechanics, add the curve/slider at a later date. It puts way too much stress on your arm, especially since your body isn't near fully developed.

Or those of us that didn't get XBox till like 2 months ago and picked it up for 19.99 as one of the Platinum series. Well worth it. GTA is greater in single player imo Halo 2 great multiplayer. Both should be f***ing awesome though. My girl is gonna be pissed, lol.

Sant did a good job with Jose. I still knock Jose, but he improved greatly defensively under Santana. I remember a lot of talk of Santana helping Jose with his release point and Jose did become much more accurate with his arm. As far as Raines goes, he'd be a welcome addition. I think he's a good baseball guy and was a smart baseball player. And in regards to Willie Harris, this is his last year for me. He has the potential, he is good defensively and I think he has the heart, but he just has as a very unconfident attitude about him. I'm hoping that changes and that he learns to feel that he can compete at this level, once that happens, I think he could do some really good things. As far as his sb's go. Lets remember how effective he was with Manuel the year before. Sure 19 Sb's was dissapointing, but the guy has the speed and will be able to steal a lot of bases. He got into "safe" mode as I call it since it seemed like any time he made a mistake he was on the bunch, so he was playing in fear and he didn't play good in that situation. It led to some poor jumps and in general, his agressiveness was gone and thats what makes Willie and any other speeedster dangerous. However, I think it wll be an open competition between Uribe and Willie. If the Sox add a big bat, I could live with an infield of Crede/Uribe/Willie/PK as long as they get a platoon guy like EY. I know some wouldn't like it, but it would be great defensively and I like the potential in all of the guys in that infield.

Hell, Schill said he felt like he could get a couple outs if needed. He said that on Sports Center earlier today.

I'm pumped, the past few days I've been absolutely glued to the tv. The early game was fantastic, I hope this one is even better...with the BoSox pulling it out. I got a feeling we see Pedro as the closer tonight.

HALO 2 is gonna be so sick. San Andreas will too. The flaw is these two awesome games come out close to each other. Halo2 is gonna be quite possibly the greatest multiplayer game ever. (GoldenEye and MarioKart rank up there as well).

Well, its gonna be a normal service. Here's a line I grabbed from XM's website. "Major League Baseball is included as part of XM's basic monthly service plan" Ya, when spring rolls around, I may figure out how much this costs. 7 bucks or so a month may be worth it. Plus all the other stuff you get.
