Time for the Sox to put up a few runs so Elo can get in the 7th, hopefully go through it slowly and then get a breather with the Sox going to the pen for the 8th and 9th. It would be really nice if the Sox could keep Elo under 100 pitches today.

Well, Victor Martinez is a pretty damn good player.

For those that don't know it, the Jackson I mention was drafted by the White Sox 50th overall in 2001. He's been filthy for the Aggies. He could slip in the draft though cause he lacks overpowering stuff.

Here is another guy I like...seems like he may be there when the SOx pick too. Justin Orenduff from Virginia Commonwealth. Guy has great stuff and a good build. Features a good fastball and slider and a developing changeup. Zach Jackson from Texas A&M is a good lefty that projects to be there when the Sox pick in the 1st as well. I'm really starting to like JP Howell and Suzuki in the 2nd if both are there.

Speaking of another lefty, what do you guys think of someone like JP Howell with one of the early picks. He pitched good for Texas and this year was moved to the rotatoin. He's a slim statured lefty, but I figure worse case you draft him, notice he can't start in the majors, move him to the pen and he could quickly move up to the majors. Personally I'm a huge fan of college pitchers and I think Howell could be a guy that slides and could be had with one of the 2nd round picks.

In his defense, he didn't really have players he wanted. He went with a bunch of NBADL guys because hte player he did have were lazy, slacker assholes that wouldn't follow his system. I have no problem with Skiles. He seems to be doing good things with Curry and I think a full offseason of Skiles working with Curry, Chandler, Hinrich and Crawford can do good things. Call it a hunch, but I think Crawford sticks around and Skiles turns him into a player that can be special.

I'm a big Borchard fan because he seems like a great guy, however I have my doubts on whether he will develop or not. Thats definately a reason to be a fan of a player. He also seems to play the game hard. I just hope he can put all his tools together and that he's got things figured out mentally and that he will also stay healthy.

Tremendous throw home by Rowand to gun down Gary Matthews Jr. at the plate. Olivo blocked it, took the shot and held on. I stick by my stance that Arow has one of the most underrated outfield arms in all of baseball. Its strong and very accurate.

Fizer will probably end up getting exposed in the expansion draft because he has almost no value and will be a free agent. He's one player that will be gone no matter what. Its too bad, he's going to fit in somewhere and be a pretty solid player.
