I got till the end of May...then I get like 3 days off (GOING TO VEGAS...HELL YA) and then I got summer school till July 5th. After that my summer break begins and goes till late August.
  2. I was right, he went to the Indians. Here was a blurb about him on May 1st: Bobby Howry has been taking part in extended spring training while recovering from elbow surgery, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. "The reports on him are good," Wedge said. "He will pitch in (Triple-A) Buffalo in early May." He could return to action by mid-May.
  3. I thought he went to the Indians organization and I'm not sure if he's still their. After that he may of went to the Dodgers, but not positive on that.
  4. Guys, I'm gonna take the flip side here. I've seen Kenny talk with Kelly before and the two seemed to have a joking type of relationship and really seemed to get along. I think their is more to this then we see, but I don't think it has anything to do with Kenny being upset with Kelly. Just my 2 cents and I'm basing it on one thing I've seen, so take it for what its worth.
  5. Ya, Milkman was an integral part of the 2000 team if I recall. I know Barcelo was pitching pretty good two winter balls ago (it may of even been this winter ball) and Baldwin is in the Twins organization or something like that. Couldn't tell ya where Simas is (dodgers had him at a point last year), but I thought Howry was with the Tribe or something like that. And Perry has been with the Rangers ever since. Thats off the top of my head. I really love that feature though. Caruso takes me back.

I'm just going to say I always thought he had it in him, but I still want to see him continue to improve and continue to get better. He still has things he has to work on and I noticed he was leaving his slider and changeup up a little too much. Still, he really is pitching in on righties more and it is making him a much more effective pitcher. To go along with the fact he has a cutter, I think the changeup has really helped him against right handed pitchers. I liked what I saw in spring when it came to his development and he seems to be putting together his new weapons well. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Give Morse the full season in AA. Its great to see him progressing offensively, but he's still a ways away, as is Ruddy Yan. I think both of them have good upside but it will be time well spent in Birmingham. Both would be extremely overmatched in AAA, imo, as would Spidale who really seems to be progressing nicely for the Barons.

    I don't get it :shrug
  9. I figured the same Rex. Still, Idon't see it as too big of a deal, usually you'd be pretty off considering you haven't pitched in a bit and your coming back from a sore arm.
  10. I got it out here on ESPN2 in Cali.

Holy macoral...Brian ANderson came to the party tonight in a Warthogs whooping. Anderson had 4 hits including two homers (one a granny) and knocked in 5.
  12. ALl I'm going to say is that Willie is up to .280 and he's taking a lot of pitches and working the counts. I'm for a Juan Willie combo until one of them fades and I'm hoping neither do.

I'll tell you one thing, a few more games and Jose Valentin will lead the league in K's, lol
  14. I think either way he's got a very bright future. I could see him eventually moving to the rotation, but I do believe the Sox have some concerns on how he will old up. It will be interesting to see how he responds later in the season after all the wear and tear from being a starter. Either way this has to be good cause its getting him to rely less on his curveball and better hone his secondary pitches which will make him that much better in the future.
  15. Hope your having a good one
  16. Honels eligible to come off, but it doesn't sound like him or Wing will be back anytime soon.

Maybe I should start padding my stats, lol. I'm gonna say it happens pretty quickly, I'm thinking Thursday.
  18. Warthogs Place Espinal on the Disabled List By Jason Gage May 2, 2004 FutureSox.com The Winston Salem Warthogs placed right handed reliever Jose Espinal on the disabled list on Sunday. Espinal had been one of the bright spots of the Hogs pitching staff going 2-0 with a 1.32 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 13.1 innings. Espinal is the fourth Warthog on the disabled list. The others are RHP Rick Hummel, RHP Jose Mieses, and catcher Ryan Wade The Warthogs replaced Espinal with RHP Jeremy Hudson who was promoted from Kannapolis. Hudson had pitched well with the Intimidators, who have a very deep pitching staff, going 0-0 with a 1.74 ERA in 5 games while striking out 5 in 10.1 innings of work.

Let me look at my stats notes. I think we just did something with F Values.
  20. Well, I don't think Reed is going to be in Charlotte much longer.
  21. My bad, was looking at an old roster and forgot about Torres. Plus, Hankins could play left which means even without Bikowski you could have 5 people more then capable of playing outfield. So book it, my call is Bikowski will be headed to Birmingham and hopefully he'll get back on track and help the Barons offense. I'd also say Hankins could go down, but then they would only have one catcher, so that isn't an option.
  22. The thing is if he is pitching really good, then the Sox will want him here because a strong pen could really help the Sox if they were playing really good down the stretch. I also don't like the idea of moving a guy if he's pitching well for the future when the team isn't playing for the future. It sends the wrong message.
  23. I'd speculate that Bikowski could go down to AA. He really creamed the ball their last year, but has really struggled with Charlotte. The only flaw is the Knights would only have 3 outfielders and that wouldn't really work and I can't think of who they could demote on the pitching staff because its really been good this year.
  24. If Koch pitches lights out, I don't think he'll go anywhere. However, I don't think their is much of a chance that he'll be back in Chicago next year, but if he's pitching lights out the Sox can't afford to deal Koch and if they can, odds are it means the Sox are out of the race. He pitched good today, although the Jays hitters did a nice job fighting pitch after pitch off. I was impressed, good command of his pitches and he did a nice job mixing them up as well.
  25. I'd guess Cotts would be the guy. Him or Adkins and I think Cotts has earned the shot at the spot start. I don't know if Neal is going to stay in the rotation, I still got a feeling we'll see Wright back up pretty quick. Rex, quick question for you; How long does Wright have to be in Charlotte for it to count as an option?
