Well invision board, but ya same thing. The new site is freaking awesome. I am looking forward to getting some time and catching out all the interactive features. Grossman is now my wallpaper on my computer at work.

He should be alright. I still have only seen/heard that it is precautionary.

I think Reed is up by the end of May. I like Rowand, but Reed will supply what this offense needs, a #2 hole hitter with some speed that will allow Jose to move down in the order to help break up all the right handed bats.

I think Gallas did some good things, but recently the Sox marketing has struggled. He's probably being scapegoated and it doesn't help that the team grossly underachieved the past few seasons. Also, JR's dislike by the general fans is another thing he can't really fix. IF Jr ever started having more face time talking about the organization and just really making himself sound more like a fan and how he wants to win (sincerely, not just bulls***) then I think it would do a big part in getting fans back. I know big signings and actions speak louder then words, but if he starts making the right comments and then signs guys like Maggs to contracts and makes a genuine effort over the next few years to up payroll and make this team better and better, then I think thats what it will take. If it fails after that, then I think the Sox need new ownership and a fresh start to regain the market. Its going to be tough, they have lost a market at a point when the Cubs fandom is growing ever so astronomically.

Damn, back a few years ago I went nuts when the Sox dealt him for Marte. It was one of the few times I was dead Wrong, lol. Still, Guerrier is a solid pitcher...man it sucks that he's in the TWins organization.

I just don't see the value in that deal, not unless the Sox get a raw arm in return. Bellhorn did jack last year and really had one year ever where he did squat at the major league level. I don't mind him, but Wunshc is one of the best left handed specialist in all of baseball. He held lefties to a .200 or less average if I recall last season. I dont' want to give him up for nothing. In fact, I'd rather keep him, move Cotts to the rotation (I think Scho is going to be solid) and then have Wright in the pen with Wunsch as your 2nd lefty.

The Chargers are going to take him #1 overall (Gallery) so I wouldn't hold your breath to get him. I'd freaking love Gallery, he is an absolutely STUD, but the reality is the Bears don't have the ability to snag 2 first round picks. The Pats aren't going to move up, because Jackson would of been what they wanted and if they want to move up with two first rounders, they could go higher then 14, imo. I'll take Oguleyne and the Dolphins 1st rounder in what was rumored (1st rounder of ours and a 3rd rounder for their first rounder and Oguleyne). Bears get a stud DE and then can still go dt in the 1st if they want or grab Lee Evans (I got a feeling this is who JA is targeting and they will move down if they can't deal for Oguleyne).

I still can't believe the Hogs offense hasn't gotten going, but it should. And they got a good outing from their pitching staff today, but it really lacks a true ace, imo.

He isn't too bad on Around the Horn. Comes of much more knowledgable. Part of it is that he is paid to write columns that stir up some friction and such. So he'll do things that rile people up.

Ya they do, I still believe both Almazega or Chone Figgins would be solid pickups. Figgins has played two games this year at shortstop. HE hasn't been amazing their, but did make a webgem a few nights ago.

He was hitting 95 this season, as high as 97 on a few pitches. Not quite 100 and his command and mechanics are a bit improved. Im' going to take last year as a bit of an abberition. Usually I don't do it, but for a guy that was a solid closer his entire career, he's semi earned it. Paulie has a clean slate and so does BK in my book thus far. I'm not really for sending any of them down. Adkins has pitched solid, Cotts has too and Tagatsu, who I like, pitched very good his last outing in Tampa. However, Tagatsu could use a little time in AAA if hte Sox wanted to, soley to let him get some consistent work in and work on his control. The guy was as low as 61 or 63 in Tampa and as high as 88....thats freaking nasty.

Koch has one bad game and you want to crucify him. Geeze, the guy has looked alright so far this year, minus that outing. At least give the guy a shot, its the least that could happen. His stuff has looked better this year and he's always had a great attitude. Count me in the camp that thinks Wunsch stays down for a while. However, I Think he will be back up within a week. First I think they want to see whether Wright will stick in the rotation or if Cotts will move up and then Wunsch will come up and become the lefty specialist. If thats the case then I see the Sox doing this: Cotts to the rotation, Wright to the pen, Adkins to the minors (or Tagatsu, who I happen to thnk will be pretty good for us), and then Wunsch as the lefty specialist to go with Damaso).

Cool...I guess something is going on. One of the people that responded to the post was someone that covers the Eagles and he said he didn't know what was going on, but something was happening.

All I could see is that it was an internet rumor from the Eagles message board from a guy who supposedly knew a guy (ya, that whole inside source thing).
