More Bears News!!!
I think the Bears will probably tell Rdub to restructure or he'll be cut. Thats just my guess. First, I think they want to deal with the more pressing needs. This would be a great signing. Salaam has plenty of experience and is only 26 years old. He has a pretty bright future and if he signs, the Bears oline and Rex Grossman should at least feel safe. I'd also say that Thomas Jones and whoever else is carrying the ball should be happy. I do believe this means one of the olineman - at least one, will be dealt.

She's the one on seventh heaven right?

Where has Brando been?
Wow, I didn't hear that either. Brando - My best wishes go out to you and your family. Thats a very tough thing, especially since she was so involved in your life. It was really pretty hard when I lost my grandpa three years ago (as of yesterday). I'm so so sorry to hear about your loss.

FutureSox: Sox Option Six
I like Munoz, he's going to be pretty good. He still has somethings to work on and I wouldn't be surprised if he found himself pitching well in Chicago at some point this year.

NCAA hoops thread
My bad...meant to say Augestine. I always confuse him with Brian Archibald. Michigan should be a little better too next year. And you'd have to think IU will do better, they have some talented players.

does anyone know...
Ya, that looks like the background color to me.

NCAA hoops thread
No matter what happens to the Illini this year, they should be a top top team next year. They get Brown and Archibald back as juniors and have some other good young talent. I also think MSU will be very impressive and Iowa should be a pretty strong team. But to me Illinois and MSU will both be top 10 teams next year and the Big Ten should be on its way back next season, although I think both Wisconsin and Illinois will win a couple and MSU could be a threat to win a few as well.

Rod Beck out indefinitely
Dang, I hope its nothing too serious. He's always been a class act and that piece on him when he was in Iowa was just impressive. He opened up his house to the fans and anyone else.

Interesting Trade Idea from Rosenthal.
Lol, I'm just not very pleased with relying on two unknowns in a sense for our 4th and 5th spot. But I don't think I'd actually make the Benson deal because the Sox have a budget, and I think there would be better options. But I'm up for any deal that gets the Sox extra starting pitching, assuming its good and assuming we aren't giving up any top prospects. And if Spivey is on the block for cheap, why not get him cause Harris sure as hell isn't opening up many eyes But your right, I'd like to see a few changes made if they are actually improvements and don't cost much.

March Madness first round upsets
I have Florida going pretty deep into the tourney...maybe the elite 8, I forget.

March Madness first round upsets
Utah over Boston College Louisville over Xavier Southern Ill over Bama Arizona over Seton Hall I agree that Western Michigan could beat Vandy, but I didn't pick them.

Interesting Trade Idea from Rosenthal.
I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm not a huge Benson fan, but when healthy he can be pretty solid. Its no secret I don't like Rauch and while Stewart is solid, I don't see him becoming an ace so I say why not. But I think there are better options out there then Kris Benson.

Borchard is done
From what the Sox had said, they had been pretty pleased with Borchard's swing this spring. Hopefully he can get this injury behind him and stay healthy all season. It can't help that he always seems to be going down with some sort of nagging injury and when he plays through it, I'm sure it effects his power. I think he'll be up for good sometime this year. For some reason I have a little faith in Borchard making it. On the opposite side of the spectrum, I have almost no faith when it comes to Jon Rauch.

March 15, 2004 - White Sox vs. Rockies
Pacheco and Majewski are two guys that have really struggled this spring.

Some Frozen Lobsters Return to Life
Here's a question, could this somehow be a thing scientists could look at when it comse to unfreezing humans that were cryogenically frozen? On the plus side, I don't eat lobster so I don't have to worry about thawing out a frozen lobster and getting pinched

Am I like one of the only people that has yet to see this film?

Nationalizing Resources
I don't think this would be an appropriate answer, because I don't really have much faith in putting a lot of my interests in the governments hand. With special interest groups, political bases, etc, I feel a lot of people would be left out and I don't want to have to trust the government to give those things. I also wonder how effective the systems would be when nationalized, because the government doesn't exactly have the greatest record of operating things effeciently.

Agency initiates steps for selective draft
This doesn't seem horrible. I'm assuming both of these people wouldn't be used on the battefield but more for intelligence and such. I wonder how they figure out whose a linguist and like whose talented at computers and such.

Final Four Picks
Gonzaga vs Oklahoma State Duke vs Uconn Gonzaga vs Uconn I got the Zags winning, although I'm not sure I'll leave it this way.

Mike Jackson and Chris Singleton?
I thought Willy Mo Pena had no options because he signed a major league contract or something along those lines. I don't know the exact thing, but he had to be up in the majors by a certain year and after that he couldn't be set down without passing through. It was just a weird contract if I recall. I think Pena is still like 21 or 22 and the Reds, since they suck, should just be playing him everyday.

Gload's Homer
Sweeney has some power. Watching him take BP, I was like wow, he's got an easy swing and the ball isn't going too far. Then I look and the ball is carrying out of the park to center. Its like a sneaky type power and the kid is only 19. He's going to fill out nicely and should develop even more power, but he already has more then just "Gap Power that should develop into home run power".

How happy are you?
I'm free and happy. Makes sense to me, I don't ever let anything bother me and 99% of the time I'm in a good mood.

Brunson Burner Waived
Ah brilliant, Pargo is a hell of a lot better then Brunson. I got to see Pargo a lot last season when he was a Laker and he's a solid pg.

Jason Grilli
He didn't pitch when I was there, but he's supposed to have good stuff.
