Heck ya Heads...that was sweet with UNI getting in. Awesome game. Alex, you got any idea where Tom Davis is coaching? My dad told me he got a gig this year and thought it was for one of the smaller schools in Iowa. I'm just curious to know how he was doing. Your probably happy he was forced out cause it was basically the end to Iowa's basketball program, which is now 2nd to Iowa State.

NBA Draft Goss
A while, although I firmly believe one of Erob or JYD will be in Charlotte next year. Mark, personally i'd rather have Erob then JYD, but thats just me. Erob is a pretty darn good spot shooter, can't say that about JYD. I'd like to see the Bulls lose JYD or Erob's contract and then use the other along with Chandler and maybe someone else to add a good player.

And Skiles has benched Erob until he is willing to take it to the hole offensively. If Erob takes it to the hole and gets agressive, I'd say he has a shot at being one of the better 3's in the NBA.

Soxtalk NCAA Tournament Pick'em
WCC is a better midmajor if you ask me. Santa Clara and Gonzage have both went very deep and Gonzage usually goes deep. Didn't NU make it in when they had Eshermeyer? Or was it the NIT they went deep in that year?

NBA Draft Goss
My point is Snow and Iverson is a small backcourt and its worked very well for them. Plus Crawford plays absolutely no defense and is an offense first player, just like AI (Although Iverson is a very respectable defensive player who almost every year leads the league in steals). While shorter, they would be a solid backcourt, even defensively. Against the taller guards, the Bulls would have a quickness mismatch and if they had two legit bigmen, they could in a sense stop the taller guards from taking advantage of them. I think Hinrich is like 6'3, which isn't incredibly short for a 2 guard, especially since he's a very good defensive player.

QUESTION FOR ANYBODY WHO KNOWS
Ya, we've heard of him. He's one of the Sox top prospects. Thats some nice pub about him. He's turned himself from a sleeper into a prospect on most peoples radars, including BA's. I also think he's gotten himself on the Sox radar, considering the story about him. Although I don't think he was the project peopel made him out to be. McCarthy slid in the draft because he comes from a cold weather state. He had some very impressive collegiate and high school numbers.

NBA Draft Goss
I don't think the Sixers do it. However, you do JC (resigned JC), Chandler, Ad or JYD for Iverson and I think they do it. You could swap Chandler for the pick, although in that case, I agree with your assessment, the Bulls should get the Sixesr 1st round pick. With that pick, I'd probably draft Luke Jackson out of the University of Oregon. If its a little higher then where Jackson projects, then It be a different scenario, but I'd look for a 2 or 3.

NBA Draft Goss
I know Hinrich is a little smaller, but he's still the superior defensive player when compared to JC, plus I'd have to think JC would be part of the deal in a sign and trade. Snow isn't very tall and Hinrich is a superior player to Snow. Him and Iverson let the Sixers to the Eastern Conference Finals. As long as the Bulls could keep Curry, Hinrich and have AI, I don't got a problem with it. If they somehow can keep one of Chandler and the pick, even better.

Go Cal State Fullerton Titans...YEAAHHHH They play on Wednesday against Cal State Northridge and I'll get off my ass and go to the game to support them.

NBA Draft Goss
I still think Paxson should do whatever is necessary to get Kobe, but I would agree that AI would look good on the Bulls alongside Hinrich.

IU's coach Davis given the kiss of death
They can hire Alford after he gets canned at the end of the season or at least I hope he gets canned. Iowa has some good players that are going to be sophmores and juniors this year so getting a legit staff in here would help. I always thought Alford was a good teacher, but it just isn't working in Iowa.

Josh Paul
He came up in the Angels-Mariners game and they had these whole discussion on whether that was Josh Paul or not. Only reason I found it interesting was because he is a former Sox. Josh always producted when he was at the major league level. Heck, he may have a higher career avg at the major league level then he did in the minor league level. Too bad he's in the Angels organization, which has the Molina brothers and Jeff Mathis. A guy rated as 1B, just behind Joe Mauer.
