    OT Question

In 1996 France and the US agreed to an extradition treaty. I know a lot of extradition treaties now deal with the transfer of terrorists or fugtives, that type of stuff. Hope that helps Steff

Over the Hills is one of my personal favorites.
  3. Yeaaaaaa...I knew being Soxtalk's Sexiest Man would pay off
  4. LMAO...whatever you do, don't attach any pictures. What I find funny is when you watch any hot girl on a widescreen tv. They are horrible inventions cause it gives them all ghetto booties. Then again, for those that are into that, they may want to invest in a kick ass widescreen tv Still...I don't have much of a gut and am in good shape, but man, a guy shouldn't have a better gut then a so called sex icon (well minus my happy trail its better ) And No I don't have a six pack..a long long time ago, but then I met food and well I like food too much. So memo to Christina, lay off the gut or wear some different clothes.
  5. Oh I see...I'm just not good enough But thats a really sharp watch. What kind is it?

Brando...what type of acting do you do? Are you more into plays or do you want to do movies and such and have you had any parts in any shows or anything like that before?
  7. Very sharp watch, I like it a lot. Is that my gift ?
  8. I can specifically remember Bart late in games hitting 99 and 100 a few times. He was gunning it later and later in the season. Early in the season there were quite a few times where he was in the low 90's. Bart is a horse though, he makes our rotation so much better. If the Sox lose them, they better find another type of ace. Bart is a guy that can absolutely carry you in a playoff series and break losing streaks. Those are the kind of guys the Sox need.
  9. Weird...I can't see how they can rate the importance of a player like that. To me its unfair, I think the team with the worse record should get the better pick, but I see the other side as well. Either way the Sox would get at the least 2 first round comp picks and at the best a first round comp and the Yankees first rounder. Thats just for Gordon, to me thats pretty damn good. And if they lose Bartolo, they'll pick up another two picks so that would be 4 first rounders plus our own first rounder. The Sox are gonna be in a position where a great draft can really set them in a great spot in a few years (This years draft was very good, imo, especially with position players). It will be interesting to see, if they get that many picks, what they focus in on. I see them taking a catcher and infielder high and then going pitching, pitching and more pitching.
  10. I was thinking the same thing, but I could be wrong. What exactly is Class C comp. I'm so lost on the MLB rules. Speaking of Rules, when is the Rule V draft coming up?
  11. MSU will probably gel but right now they have a lot of work to get better. Their tough as nails schedule will be good for them.
  12. A stomach worse then mine. I got no problem if she has a little blubber, but don't dress like that with it. I ain't all about skinny girls or anything like that. Christina a long time ago, used to be very very attractive. Even during his semi rebellious time I thought she was attractitve, but the last 6 months to a year have really been downhill with her.
  13. Why would the Big Ten not put their best foot forward, Iowa is better then Northwestern. I'm sure there was a scheduling conflict or something. Or maybe things rotate. I think it will be pretty good. The ACC isn't as good as usual and the Big 10 is stronger then a lot make them out to be, imo.
  14. The biggest reason I'd probably fail as the GM of the Sox is I'd want to give the team a total make-over when it comes to position players and thats a lot harder to do then I make it out to be. I still think the best thing to do is to do everything you can to move players that are overpaid compared to their production. If you can get a player that puts up similar numbers for a few mill less and excells in some areas the current player doesn't, then go for it, because frankly, the money should be spent on pitching. You don't necessarily have to have big bucks invested in pitching, but to win it all you NEED good pitching, I'm convinced of that. And its probably unlikely that Jones gets non-tendered, they should be able to get something for him and I don't see them dealing with the Sox. But there are gonna be a ton of those type of guys on the market after all the non tendering occurs and I want the Sox in a position where they could go after them. I could give a damn whose on offense cause this team needs to be changed and if it means cutting the amount spent on position players to bring back Colon and get in a good 5th and to add some relievers, then so be it as far as I'm concerned. I'm old school though...gimme pitching and defense and good fundementals and I'll be happy. The Dodgers didn't suceed with that philosphy but I'd say more often then not a team would of. The Dodgers just had nothing. Their offensive players were atrocious fundementally when it came to doing the little things at the plate and running the bases, moving guys over.
  15. Thats such a gross photo of Christina
  16. Those gifts sound really cool. When I get my first place I hope to be able to kind of make a game room/bar type of thing in the basement (Thats if I take a job in the midwest cause if I stay in California there isn't a chance in hell that I can afford that type of place right out of the gate). Pool Table, Dart Board, Nice TV...comfy chairs...a room where I can watch football and all that good stuff with the buddies and all that. Now back onto topic, I'd think that if you typed Poker Table online you'd find some pretty cool things. Also, if you look in the yellow pages and go to like a Billiard and Bar Stool type place they will often have Poker tables and that type of stuff. Here's a few sites I found Steff: http://www.pokerproducts.com/home.htm http://teamfu.freeshell.org/table_selection.shtml (Site on buying them...what to look for) http://www.reviewed-casinos.com/casino_sup...ackjack_tables/
  17. I'm probably one of the only ones who'd like to see the Sox bring Osuna back at like 600-800 K for the year. I think hte Sox need 3 more relievers (If they move Koch)...this would be the 3rd guy, the other two I'd want to be better, more like setup men.
  18. Thanks for clearing that up. As far as I understand it if the Yanks sign a Type A player from a team with a worse record then the Sox, then we don't get their first round draft pick but another pick of some sort. Right now Sheffield is the only other player they have signed and the Braves have a worse record.
  19. It wouldn't be a bad thing to see an outfield of Jones, Reed, Encarnacion. Its not near the production we've had in the past, but its great defensively and would give the Sox a completely different look. Its realistic and Lee and Ordonez could help you land some other playes and quite frankly you could get Jones and Encarnacion locked up for about 8-10 mill between the two of them and then Reed and well you go from an outfield that would cost around 21 mill (Not counting Everett) to 10 at the most. Jones and Encarnacion are both solid, talented, all around players that still have room for their game to grow and Reed is very talented too. Throw in a vet and Rowand as the backups and I like that outfield a lot. It will also allow the Sox to use Lee and Magglio to get other pieces (Most likely cheap pieces..but talented ones as well). Maybe deal Magglio to Baltimore and then Lee to Seattle or somewhere else; Lee should have very good value. Next try to get the Dodgers to take Konerko and pay a little and work on the Mets deal with Koch. Lee or Konerko will get you the pitchers and a shortstop (Jose probably goes in one of those deals as well) and then the Sox free up money to sign a 2nd baseman or shortstop (depending on what they get in return) as well as money to get Colon. You have 5 strong pitchers, money left over to add relievers and role players and this is now a team that is very young, strong fundementally, and most of the players are signed long term so you don't have to worry about constantly having to shake things up because of payroll constraints.
  20. Good for TCU...I still say they will get into some bowl, but School is why your in college. Athletics is a benefit, but very few players on a college team, especially TCU, are going to be professionals. Maybe 3 or 4 will go on and frankly there are another 50 players or so that won't...and for them the education is what they will need to move onto the next level (In most instances)
  21. This is only a good move if they go out and bring in a coach that is gonna transform Nebraska from the wishbone system that they run. If they just hire from within then they are fools and should of stuck with Solich.
  22. Thats disgusting if that isn't edited. I too don't like twiggly girls. Just normal girls, they don't need to starve themselves.

Ya, Michelle pm'd me the day before Thanksgiving as well. As far as Baggs he had some prior personal commitments to take care of before he was gonna get a new computer or at least thats what I heard. Bridgeport seems to be around on ocassions but everyone else already answered that.
  24. Well Todd Walkers agent said Walker wouldn't mind playing for the White Sox, as well as a few other teams.
