Well everyone has been asking for this for a while...and today is the grand opening of the new Sports Board Anyway this is the place to talk about any sports team not named the Chicago White Sox as well as any and all contests that are run. Check it Out and if you have friends that may be interested in talking about other sports teams...tell them about Soxtalk Enjoy

Ya...thats it. Isn't that a new show? I never had heard of it before.
  5. Crap..2k3, what was the link to the ptc page? Deleted the conest forum and forgot to pull that info from there. Thanks
  6. I think all three will really do good. I loved Crawfords development late in the season and I think that Curry also bursted onto the scene. Still one of my favorites is Chandler because he is such an explosive player, especially defensively. He is also becoming an extremely good rebounder and I think offensively we will see him make strides. The good thing is I think the Bulls will have an improved offense (Once again) and having a better defense will be the key to making the playoffs. Both Pippen and Chandler can do the dirty work as well as the Hassler and Roger Mason Jr. Hopefully Curry can improve on the boards and defensively and I liked what I saw out of Crawford (All around). I'm really excited for this team. Its too bad we won't get to watch Jay Will, but I'm a big Heinrich fan and think he will add another dimension to this team. He's a great defender, great passer and can shoot. Its interesting you mention Mason. I like him as the dark horse of the year. Kinda like what Hassell did his rookie year. I don't think Heinrich is going to amount to much and that Roger Mason is going to jump in for some big PT. I love his hustle and athelticism. I loved Hassel in his rookie year. I can't figure out what happened to him since, but I know one thing...he's gonna be the one that only plays during garbage time, unless he improves his shot. I think you'll see Mason and Heinrich get a lot of playing time off the bench. They both bring completely different looks. This is definately the deepest Bulls team in years. And I'm with ya on Mason...I think he could break out. The only thing I regret is the Bulls giving Pip a multi year deal...that was foolish, imo.
  7. Ya...putting you up as a mod right now. You...Donkey...and will probably add one other peron interested in the sports stuff..most likely Spiff and/or Ian...since they are running the pro football pool. I'm loving this idea...I'm ready to start getting excited about the Bulls
  8. Its all good to me. I just had the name "my kind of board" in reference to it being the other Chicago sports team sport (that and I think ol Blue Eyes was awesome) , but "the sports bar works" just as well. It probably is a little less constricting. All the posts were moved. What posts need to be pinned in regards to the contests? Also for those that have friends that aren't White Sox fans but are fans of other Chicago Sports teams...bring him on over
  9. Fizer will be a great guy back. From what I know Fizer will be back. He could be trade bait, but I got a feeling he is gonna fit in quite well and will be in the organization for a long time as he adjusts to his role as the sixth man.

  11. Yep..working on that right now. By the way...what do you think of the name? Alex came up with it. What do you think...this one or the one you suggested?

  13. Its like online memory. Everytime someone views the page or views an image it takes up memory. So if you get a huge volume..you need more bandwith so everyone can continue to look at the stuff.
  14. What a stupid poll. I ain't gonna vote until I see what the Sox do, but if the payroll is at 55 mill and KW doesn't unload some of our big salary guys then this team is doomed. I don't really think KW can put together a winning team next year at 55 mill cause I don't see him overhauling the offense, which is what it would take to do something like that. I WISH HE WOULD.
  15. What a dick :fyou

Well I've felt Url was overrated and those comments sicken me. :fyou Urlacher. Get over Hilton...football comes first..cause without that you wouldn't have the money or fame to get Hilton.
  17. 10-12 mill is too much. Keep the money and spend it elsewhere.
  18. That wasn't that low of a payroll. I think it was 65 million at the time and the very next year it jumped into the 80's.

I know one thing Gary...we were definately right in regards to McNabb...OVER-RATED
  20. about 160 a year. Quite a bit of bandwith a month...get somewhere around 3 mill hits and I think its like 20 Gigs of Bandwith no positive on that.
  21. ALDS Red Sox over Oakland in 4 Yankees over Twins in 3 NLDS Cubs over Braves in 4 Marlins over Giants in 5 ALCS Red Sox over Yankees in 6 Cubs over Marlins in 6 World Series Red Sox over Cubs in 6
  22. Hey Vince...in regards to this contest...I think it would be best if it was based on like the Top 25 teams and then maybe one outside pick. It seems like their are so many games to pick in this one.
  23. Remember Scott Sullivan has an Option too Ya...I assumed that money in the reliever area to bring in two relievers. I'd like Sully back, but I wouldn't exercise the option, I'd give him a 2 yr 5 mill deal and I believe that would be more then fair.
  24. I agree with you.
