Gracie wouldn't be a horrible pickup either. He's on the wrong side of things, but in a fire sale you could maybe bring him back to Chicago for cheap. Of course the Sox would have to unload some of their million first baseman before adding another.
Carlos Pena would be a solid pickup if his stock has fallen since being a top prospect (He's going to be good).
I think there are some players that just can't play for the Yankees. I'm sure its hard when you get jerked around a whole lot. Of course there are also guys that can only play for the Yanks; Check Shane Spencer, etc.
It was just last year where Acevedo put up pretty good numbers, but so did White. Either way, a change of scenery should do Juan good, and it could do White good if he gets placed on waivers.
I still like Munoz and Ginter in AAA.
I don't think I ever had Junior High Graduation. I just remember having to do this lame ass 20 minute speach where you had to invite your friends and parents and do it.
You did it the last day and it was a requirement. I knew those bastards weren't holding me back so I just went up and bulls*** my entire way through it. Stalled like hell, and when the time was up everyone just laughed knowing I thought about this about 10 minutes before I did it.
Now I'm just waiting for my last grade to be posted so I can see if I got a 4.0 this semester (Fingers Crossed)
With the Sox Anthony Webster and Jeremy Reed. I've also heard great things about King (3rd round pick) and our first round pick Anderson.
In other organizations I like Jeff Davannon but he isn't much of a prospect (Angels). If you call Badelli a prospect then He's right there as well.
Welcome aboard.
I think that the telling sign is going to come right now. If the Sox can beat the Giants and roll through the Padres then they may just be back.
Lol, whatever is best for the Sox. I think they are ready to move up. I'm assuming Wing and Honel won't be moving up till the second half of the season and my guess is it will be the same for Reed, Yan and Meaux.
