Wirtz is right on this issue though. The owners will lock the players out and there is no point to sign anyone, because hockey is in shambles.

Wow, I never knew we could of had Bonds. Damn how sweet that would of been.
-
Right now it appears Stewart is the starter, nothing 100% yet though. I'm hoping the best for Josh. I hope he gets in and never gives up his spot because he pitches so damn well.

The what off topic?

I truly believe we will see him come back either right before or right after the all star break. I think they will shuthim down, clean the bone chips and give him about 3 weeks in the minors before he comes up.

Thanks for that info Rex.

SN Report: Wright in Question, Stewart Gets Nod
Chisoxfn replied to Chisoxfn's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I'm not sure how he's working the rotation. It will be interesting to see how he breaks it up in order to get Colon to go against the Tribe. All I know is Manuel is saying that the 5th will be used on the 6th. -
CSNY is pretty good.

Thats fine with me. I've been an adamant supporter of Crawford for a while now. I still think Williams has good trade value and could bring the bulls a starting shooting guard. Then keep Brunson and sign a veteran point guard (maybe bring Travis Best back) to bring off the bench.

SN Report: Wright in Question, Stewart Gets Nod - For Now By Mario Scalise March 27, 2003 SoxNet.net Danny Wright experienced pain in his pitching elbow on Wednesday, just two days after throwing two innings and about 30 pitches in a spring game. With his health in question, Jerry Manuel has reportedly informed 24-year-old lefty Josh Stewart that as of now he will start on Sunday, April 6 against the Tigers at USC Field. Wright, 25, was shutdown earlier in the spring for elbow inflammation before returning last week. In 5 1/3 innings, not including the two innings pitched in a minor league game, Wright has compiled a 16.89 ERA. Stewart, whose impressive fall league numbers brought him into spring training with a chance at making the rotation, is 2-0 this spring with a 2.04 ERA. In his start Wednesday, Stewart gave up one run in five innings. Danny Wright will now likely go on the 15-day disabled list or stay in Arizona for extended training when the Sox fly to Kansas City. No word yet if surgery will be needed.

Anyone going to the Sunday game opening weekend?
Chisoxfn replied to CubsSuck1's topic in Pale Hose Talk
angels vs rangers sunday at 5 pacific time in anaheim. -
Its all in development. Now if somehow they can get Carmello Anthony.
-
They have been playing awesome as of late. JC keeps getting better while the young big man are playing real good as well. Curry is becoming a dominate force offensively. Oh ya, Eddie Robinson is healthy again which helps, cause he plays very good defense and is better then Hassel.

I'll be at the game on August 11th in ANaheim. Just got 4 tickets on the field for free with parking passes Now I just need them for the other 3 games -
Yep. They are doing it so Colon can pitch against the Indians in Clevelands home opener.

The best option Matmok, is just not reading a thread if your interested or have problems with another poster. Hopefully thats not the case, but if it is, thats my recommendation.

Well I heard reporters that were there and they said that the majority of the place was booing, not just some reporters. Oh ya, what do you think about Iraq and the supposed chemical plant in a hospital. They had a freaking tank in it and everything. Supposedly there are pictures of it on the net, but I don't know where to find them. They found all these chemical weapons suits there, as well as the syringes to take to help you fight the chemical weapons, etc. And no, I don't believe that they had these suits to protect themselves from the US. Oh ya, they have dressed as US soldiers and shot civilians/surrenders trying to make us look bad. How can people defend Saddam? I don't get it. This guy has killed over 100,000 people and not only that, but ever since he took charge he's been the most violent dictator in the world. (At least now he is). Yes, the US made a mistake not finishing the job 12 years ago and for those that cite the UN as why they didn't do it. Well thats not the case, Colin Powell and a few others (I think Bush Sr. was one of them) were against finishing them off for whatever reason, so they didn't and then Saddam ended up slaughtering a lot of people right after that. Freaking disgusting, yet some believe we shouldn't help him, because America screwed up in its dealings with him in the past. What bull. I'm sorry, but why can't we fix the past and take this guy out and liberate the people off all the crap and punishment they have had to live with. Oh ya, if they are putting this stuff in hospitals, then no doubt they are doing it in schools, etc. Sick people and yet, people are protesting calling Bush Saddam? I don't care if he was a chickenhawk. I think it sucks, but the National Guard isn't what everyone thinks it is. They also serve overseas, or at least that was what I was told. Like 30% of our foces over there are national guards or something. I never knew that and someone can check that if they want, cause I'm going off 2nd hand info. Anyway, if your going to protest the war, I don't got a problem, but for I really think calling Bush a baby killer and calling him Hitler or Saddam is way off beat. Bush isn't murdering babies (hell, he's anti abortion; YA That makes sense). Oh wait, he's hilter, he's tryingto create a master race. . And Saddam, has he gassed and murder his people? The only thing he's done is do a great job in trying to whipe out terrorism. Oh ya, you want stories, just type Saddam and torcher or murder and you will get to read so many stories on all the people he's murdered and just how brutal they are. Your lucky if you just get shot in the head.

No idea. I should know more about it though very soon. I was hoping to already know more about it.

I'd have to go with Navarro. Belle was pretty bad too. He was a good player, but all that money and all the heat the Sox took, it may not of been worth it.
-
One other theory I came up with. The Sox haven't cut Miles so he's still there. They are going to act as if they are keeping Paul, so teams don't expect to get him on waivers in the hopes that they can pick up a prospect or a minor league catcher for him.

Fish Song is another classic. I like Dylan a whole lot. I'm really like "blowing in the wind" by Peter Paul and Mary.

People like Guthrie, Peter Paul Mary, The Kingston Trio Etc? Was going to see what everyones favorite peace/make you think type songs? People like Dylan, etc. We always talk about harder rock, punk, etc, so I figured I'd throw out something different. Songs that you don't do this to
