John Boehner... (Boner) (BONER) needs to borrow just one of Nancy Pelosi's pair of balls. Then he might be 1/16 of an ounce effective. p**** whipped mother f***er.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2012 -> 09:20 PM) $10 trillion housing bubble that exploded = urban legend. Did I miss this part? If you want reality, Clinton really accelarated the housing bubble... somehow, though, you're going to ignore that factual piece of information.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 10, 2012 -> 09:40 AM) Tax expenditures and tax cuts can be classified exactly the same way as spending w.r.t. budgeting and balance sheets. Whether I cut you a check directly to subsidize your mortgage or I give you credits to reduce your tax bill, the end result is identical. This right here is a pretty f***ed up way of looking at things. And it's why nothing can ever get done in Washington. It's a lie, but it's the gimmick that everyone uses when baselining everything, which is why nothing ever comes out like they think it will.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 11, 2012 -> 08:33 AM) I couldn't answer this if I tried...I'm not sure I know what constitutes being a republican anymore aside from being an evangelical religious creep. That's pretty blatently false. What's funny, though, is Republicans of 2012 are pretty much Democrats from the 70s and 80s.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 9, 2012 -> 03:04 PM) Did I ever tell my story for the last movie and why I didn't see it in theaters? You might have but I don't remember it. I'm too old.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 8, 2012 -> 12:58 AM) If you go for the IMAX you get the opening 9 minutes of Into Darkness Oh, if I were a stalker, I know where Balta would be when this movie hits the theaters.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Dec 6, 2012 -> 09:10 PM) ...... example? cuz I can think of Romney off the top of my head. There's a big difference between doing what the law allows vs. not. But of course, you can't see that.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 13, 2012 -> 01:53 PM) Well I broke down and got a Keurig, lets see how long this lasts. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Nov 13, 2012 -> 02:29 PM) My brother has one, I also can't stand it. I think they make s*** tasting coffee. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 13, 2012 -> 02:32 PM) I live across the street from a starbucks and I am trying to get away from going there everyday. Made my first cup today, not bad so far. Definitely better than the single cup coffee maker I had before. Rock, I'm confused, you got a Keurig but that's a single cup coffee maker? I think I missed bmags - you don't like it? Just bad flavor or haven't ran across one you like yet? Could you put another "cup" in there? Y2HH? Same thing? Reason I bring this up is I am inheriting one of those in my office... I had one cup and it seems like it wasn't too bad. But then again the coffee from my old place was absolutely craptacular. It was like drinking water that was brewed through a s*** strainer or something, if that's what s*** tastes like. Can I get other containers for that brewer somewhere (I haven't the googled yet).

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 25, 2012 -> 06:45 PM) Still, the suggestion of being "Proactive" sounds very intelligent here. You can state that you're not going to do anything at present but you want to make sure someone is informed of the situation, and an intelligent supervisor/legal department will want to know the information. For all you know, you might not be the first person who has had that problem with that employee, or you might not be the last. It shouldn't be your responsibility to determine when things cross the line on your own. Of course, if you don't respect the people you'd have to report to...well then that might make a different decision happen. How well connected is this employee with management? Ratting out a person who is entrenched is usually a bad road... having said that it's putting the person at risk for a black mail kind of thing... weird.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 25, 2012 -> 05:41 PM) IMO, the only way that could possibly happen is if someone could rise up to be able to challenge Israel militarily. If that doesn't happen, they have no reason to give up their land, and no reason to trust a land for peace deal to do anything better than the walls they have built. Hence...the current status quo. And Iran is trying to do just that, which is why the balance of power would shift radically at that point.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 24, 2012 -> 10:10 AM) So what was the point of mentioning them at all? Some poor John Kerry feelings? Trolling Kap? A complete change of subject? ^^ Who cares about the "swifties"? They're not rumored to be the next SecDef?
-
Larry Hagman - aka JR Ewing... 81
-
I never said a word about the "swifties". He did throw the medals, and he did testify against his own in Congress. And he accused our soldiers of "that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women,". FACT. That's it. You want a leader like that for Secretary of Defense? If ANYONE can vote him in for that position, they have no conscious. If he wants to go to state, that's one thing, but defense?
-
QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 23, 2012 -> 04:16 PM) So the way to fix this is to continue antagonizing them?
-
QUOTE (Tex @ Nov 23, 2012 -> 03:59 PM) And forget any of the swifties and their suporters that destroyed the very meaning of medals by revealing how easy they are handed out. You have a man that allied himself with Hanoi Fonda and testified against his fellow troops, he can go f*** himself on being Secretary of Defense. It's awesome how little respect you show for that position by saying Kerry's good for it.
-
Kerry for SecDef is HORRIBLE. Here, let me throw those medals over the fence. f***er.

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 21, 2012 -> 05:25 PM) Cease fire. Amazing Israel would let the US broker a ceasefire since they aren't our ally, right Kap? They didn't. But believe the Obama propaganda if you wish. P.S. 70,000 troops on the Gaza border had nothing to do with it, either. Just saying.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 18, 2012 -> 06:31 PM) Attended a childbirth class with the wife this weekend. I have never been happier about being a man, wow. Yea, all you have to do is aim and fire.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 18, 2012 -> 05:53 PM) Guess Egypt forgot what happened last time it attacked Israel. But they had the US as an ally then, not so much anymore.

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Nov 18, 2012 -> 06:13 PM) The fact that people still believe that they have any level of anonymity with any of the these tactics are humorous. The only person you may fool is your non-technical spouse. The amount of evidence that is left behind in its digital format would alarm you. Heck I wonder how many of you have bothered to check to see if those certificates from ssl encrypted sessions are the actual certificate from the server and not the certificate your company has issued who is acting as the man in the middle. In the end the professionals can get this info, no matter the cute tricks that you employ to get around it. And of all people on the planet, the head of the CIA should know this. Almost every company I know has the ability to track every single keystroke if they want to. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 14, 2012 -> 01:52 PM) the core purpose of the constitution was to strengthen the role of the federal government. Are you f***ing kidding me? Pass the bong. I need some of that.

QUOTE (Marty34 @ Nov 13, 2012 -> 06:25 PM) Sure the super wealthy will be back spending, creating jobs, etc... at some point, but it will be on their terms. In the interim they are going to remain super wealthy and cut expenses which will hurt the rest of us. When you have that kind of money you hold the cards and don't have to crawl back. No. no. no. Hit these motherf***ers right in the nads, and hit 'em hard. They deserve it.
