  1. I don't think Hordy is playing in this league.
  2. "If I do not beat her, she will not be scared enough to obey me," the husband said. WOW. And Iran has it all figured out, don't they?
  3. Glad to see you're back to your old self. LMAO.
  4. LMAO - Tex, your sig. You're a compassionate conservative and you're supporting Kerry/Edwards? It's the Texsoxation of America!
  5. Yea, as in GET OUT OF THE WAY, literally.
  6. oh yea, I forgot about Terry "fatass" Bevington too. I love the phantom call to the bullpen game. I was there for that one.
  7. Does that answer the question?
  8. That's interesting. I had not heard that in this way. I had heard, that he had the problem - but it would have never been known had the collision never happened...
  9. I know ... I just had to mention Jamie "fatass" Navarro here. Couldn't be helped.

    TMI, waaaay TMI.
  11. Tex, I agree with your definition, but Navarro sucked beyond even the sucky expecations.

Yep. The deworming stuff pretty much pushes everything out. EVERYTHING.
  13. By far even though we still thought he sucked balls, even that depth could not keep Jaime "fatass" Navarro from being the WORST.

LMAO. Isn't it nice that you have a million dollars in some Nigerian Bank account, if you just send a few dollars their way?
  15. Read what I said again. That play TYPLIFIES the ATTITUDE of this team. When the tough stretch hit, they rolled over like a bag of wet rosin out there. That would be three years in a row the same thing happened. Waaaaaaaaah, Frank and Maggs went down. Name me anyone on the Twins that match their production. Oh wait, they play as a team, not as individuals. They know how to win, play fundamental baseball, and have a swagger and a take no prisoners approach to the game so that they get in the playoffs every year. Don't get me wrong, people, the Sox can get there, but I think it will have to be with a different core then is here now. Interchange about 3-5 guys and you have a whole different attitude.
  16. So if I get this job, I'll be there...
  17. It was that play that typlifies the attitude of this team. Why have they lost for three years in a row? A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E. They have not one bit of confidence and swagger in tough situations. This team is not mentally tough at all. They're "good" individuals, but not a good "team".
  18. no- what position are you interviewing for with the Sox? And I will tell you that you will be hard pressed to get the Sox to do anything with this site unless a lot of things were to change. Personally, I'd vote leave the site like it is. Freedom of expression is a good thing.

I've hired my staff through monster. There's just so much crap to sort through though. That's a big disadvantage to monster, is so many people use it, from an employee perspective. From an employer standpoint, it's great because the fees are small compared to recruiting people.
  20. Grow a pair, Oz. Admit you f'ed up in that Burke situation. Pretty amazing how Torii Hunter even admits it gave his team the jump it needed. That would be guevos, Ozzie.
  21. Thanks Jim. I wouldn't have thought of all that you did, but I know there's plenty of talent out there at 2b. Willie has had his struggles this year, and his mental part of the game, I really struggle watching that, because there is just so much untapped talent there. He chooses to NOT do all the little things that would make him a better player on this team, which is why I've lost my patience with him. Sounds like Ozzie has too.
  22. That's right, thanks Josh, cause I had forgotten about that. Same reason applies, though because they had so much stocked in their system at 1b. They have always had a great lock on that position.
  23. Add to that - the Reds, so five years ago, had so much talent stocked at 1B that they traded one PK to the Sox...
