And I'm also biased because I never saw this team as a playoff team and want to preserve assets until it is.

I've said it all year - Ventura and Cooper have been way overworking these starters. 2nd in the league in starter innings. And the price will be paid in the 2nd half.

Excellent Myles Jaye going today. He's been a bright spot. Still walks too many, but otherwise looking good.

I hope Saladino is more than a utility infielder. If Saladino has a good glove and can hit, he can play 2B for the foreseeable future, unless Micah figures out how to play D or Sanchez learns how to hit.

Saladino may not be the answer...he probably isn't at 3rd (maybe 2nd or short). But he's the best IF the Sox have right now except for Abreu. He doesn't seem to have much power, but he does drive the ball a bit, so he's not depending on his doinkers just slithering through the infield.
