  1. QUOTE(traydragen @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 02:20 AM) Is it just me or is it too early to throw in Reed everyday hitting in the 2 hole? Nah, he's ready.
  2. QUOTE(IndySoxFan @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 02:16 AM) Uribe likes to swing.... :rolly Ehh, ya take the good with the bad. He's hit the ball hard tonight and knocked in four. I'll take a strikeout a night if he does that.
  3. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 02:10 AM) I'm confused now. When did Vizcaino enter the game? In the 8th. Pitched a scoreless 8th. And, maybe this is a little premature, but Rowand looks locked in.
  4. Valdez missed that one by a good foot and a half...
  5. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 01:56 AM) Does Iguchi look as bad as his line? He looks pretty silly at the plate tonight.
  6. Settle down, Jon. Come on, don't let one walk turn into all this... f***, ball one.
  7. f***, there goes the perfect game. But that other thing is still in order.
  8. Ibanez flies out to deep left-center field. One out in the fifth.
  9. QUOTE(marleycat @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 01:04 AM) Ouch, who the heck is Juan Uribe? 3-0 Broke out last year. One of the few hitters who actually did better once he got away from Coors. 20 HR guy, .260-.280 AVG. Not an OBP guy. Really, really streaky. Carried us last April, hitting .400+. Slick fielding.
  10. Pierzynski strikes out, swinging at two balls. And Crede swings at the first pitch. What the f*** is wrong these guys? Are they seeing a different game from the dugout? If I'm Ozzie, I make this guy throw three strikes. Once he does that, then let them swing the bats. Crede singles. Six game hit streak. Hurrah.
  11. Rowand grounds out, FIRST f***ING PITCH. Damnit....
  12. Wow. Garland has some filthy movement tonight. He made Beltre look silly! Nice job, Jon!
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 12:54 AM) We don't have a lot of real tough outs in our lineup. I said this a few days ago, but we're a very easy team to pitch to. I'm thrilled with our 6-3 record right now, considering we could easily be like 2-7. Still, though. Paully gets walked on four pitches, and the first pitch to Dye is a ball. Pineiro is nowhere near the plate, and he swings at the second pitch?
  14. I'm sorry, but that's a pretty pathetic effort through the first three innings by Sox hitters. Pineiro has been absolutely nowhere near the plate, and these guys are swinging at the second pitch. I don't think I've seen Joel throw three pitches in one AB that were over the plate. I don't mean to b****, but I don't like what I'm seeing. That's a real poor job of hitting there...
  15. We got one run. Yet is anyone besides me really dissappointed? There's a case where bunting totally f***ed us over. Normally, I wouldn't b**** like this, but we just totally gave Pineiro a break there.
  16. Bases loaded, on another walk. Ugh -- terrible decision by Ozzie to have AJ bunting. Come on Uribe, time to break out, right here.
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 12:32 AM) Two failed bunt attempts by A.J. I'm quite confused why he'd be bunting, but Iguchi was not. Especially considering how much better Pineiro is against righties than lefties. I agree. Two straight walks by Pineiro. That's giving him a break. Make him throw strikes. Terrible call by Oz.
  18. Holy s***! Two walks in an inning! Stay patient tonight, fellas, and I think we'll get a lot of men on base. Rowand walks, Dye on second, A-Row on first. Pierz at the plate. No outs.
  19. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 12:24 AM) Inning recaps would be awesome, thanks. You don't have to do an all-out PBP though. I'll just be checking periodically. OK -- well, looks like RV23 and wsf13 got ya covered, but if they stop, I'll make sure to help ya out.
  20. Sorry santo and Addy. You guys want/need P-B-P?
