Pierzynski's double was huge. But on a serious note -- no excuse for Harris not to be in the game at that point. A lot of us were calling for that right after AJ hit the double, and it almost cost us big time. Ozzie f***ed up there, JMHO...

Awesome! Gio got some innings (albeit, just a few) with the Warthogs last year, correct? If he pitches fairly well in Kanny, how long do you guys think before he gets the promotion? Is there a possibility he takes the B-Mac route -- Kanny to Salem, then perhaps some innings at Birmy if all goes well?

Has anyone tried going over 'Area 51' with that thing, or those area's in Arizona where they test things? Or have I just entered a new level of 'nerd' with that comment?

Mortenson on ESPN just broke in, I guess he wrote a letter to all 32 NFL teams, letting them all know he took steroids. I guess he didn't test positive, but admitted it? Kiper has him as a 2nd rounder, FWIW...

As far as the Hafner contract, he'll get 500K this year, $2.5 million in 2006, and $3.75 million in '07. There's a 250K buyout, and a $4.75 option for '08. Talk about a good contract. He probably won't be as good as last year, but he'll still be damn solid. That makes two lefty-1B/DH types who are gonna be real good in the AL Central in Morneau and Hafner...
