Yeah, I forgot that Fick was pinch-ran for by Baldelli.
Thanks for the correction. Damn, Frank just misses a sure two-bagger down the right field line.
He just totally missed it. Hall then threw to second, and Rowand was stuck in the middle of second and third. He ran right to third, the throw to third was high and into the seats.
Wow - the Sox catch a break, as Olivo f***s up a bunt, Hall throws to second and they get Rowand in a rundown, but the throw to third is high and into the stands. Rowand scores.
2-2 Tie game.
Yeah, high pitch counts worry me. Loaiza has a good start and right now is in line for the LOSS. Come on guys.... Especially against the D-Rays, let's go, get two runs this inning...
This feels like a game Loaiza would have lost last year. It's also looking like we're going to lose this game, sorry for being so pessimistic. We've had so many opprtunities, and haven't cashed in.
An ugly trend is starting to occur - when our leadoff hitters do well, the Sox do well. When they don't do well, the Sox don't do well. So far Harris and Uribe are zero for six.
I definitely did NOT like Shoe being a starter coming out of ST, but he has impressed the hell out of me. He has a little bit of zip on his pitches, he keeps his pitches down. He gets his breaking ball over for strikes. He's our fourth starter, and I'll take a start like that, six or seven innings with three runs or less, any day of the week.
I think an order of crow is on it's way to my house, lol.
Sean Casey would be a nice lefty bat. Ken Griffey would be nice as well, but Griffey is too injury-y and to money-y (Boers and Bernstein-isms, lol). If Konerko continues hitting like he has been, I see no need to trade Konerko.
Yeah, Johnson is declining. I'll take Kris Benson in the last year of his contract, or Kip Wells, for a combo of Rauch and, another mid-level prospect, but none of Reed, Anderson, Sweeney, and Honel.
I miss Jose Valentin...
He'd be a nice lefty bat in the lineup right now. We don't have that right now, and until Uribe slows down, he ought to be our everyday secondbaseman.
