i haven't liked mac since one ate my zip disk with the entire semester's homework on it...

my computer is a 1.5 gig, 256 mb, toshiba laptop which i bought bout a yr ago. perfect for burning cds and internet. for a brand new computer, the specs all depend on how much ya wanna spend. either way should get a processor between 2.5-low 3 gigs. memory should be at least 512 mb... brand is pretty much personal preference with a couple that are pretty bad. if a lot of people say they had probs with a brand stay away. i've had good luck with compaq and toshiba and bad luck with the el cheapo brand e-machines (but know someone with good luck with one )

that's all i do... plus i used to be a telemarketer so if you get a call from 'em just immediately tell them to take you off their calling list. they then have to shutup and go into this whole legal mumbo-jumbo spill (don't remember the whole paragraph but it goes a little something like--we can take you off our calling list and it may take up to 30 days but please remember that you may be on some other company's calling list and we can only take you off of ours...yadayadayada...)

i'm surprised it went where a bunch of people were. i lived out in the boonies and still drive out in the boonies real early in the morning quite regularly and rarely get a glimpse of one and when i do they are almost always running away.
