  2. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) How am I suposed to react when somebody tells me that I can't stand up and piss in their house? My boss today told me "When you are in my house, you don't do that s***. You sit down and piss. Those little particles get all over my house and make it smell like s*** when you do that s***" laugh. ask if he's joking. if not, sit down to piss or don't piss at his house...

  7. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 01:52 PM) How, repeat, how, am I winning? CHEATER!!! actually it's because you've almost completely used up some of the best drivers and we're not halfway through the season yet.
  8. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) Hangar, people aren't upset about the topic. They are upset that you started a thread with a laughably vague title and lead post, failing to cite any sort of article backing up your claim about people going nuts on it. You want a comment on the topic? Here is one. Its a stupid idea if they don't use an internal, proprietary system with some sort of encryption. Why? Its called a scanner. Most cell phones and wireless devices operate in specific freq ranges, often the 800- and 900- trunk bands. These bands can be listened in on, and detected for proximity, by easy-to-find police/fire scanners and other such technology. So, the communications could be intercepted, if another team wanted to do that. Football had that problem at one point I believe, and changed their systems to accomodate. it'd be cool. like at a race but instead of listening to the driver/crew chief/spotter chatter you'd be listening to manager/bullpen chatter. how exciting! this is revolutionary to baseball so it's somewhat a big deal in baseball's little world. since it's done everywhere else in the real world though it's not that big an issue in the scheme of things. if people want to talk about it let them. it's interesting for a minute or two...
  9. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 11:20 AM) I figured I'd come here for help. My son (otherwise known around here as "The Boy") is rather obsessed with cars in general. He is begging to go see a NASCAR race. So, being the most awesome Dad that I am, I want to take him in July to the race in Joliet. My question is where is best location to watch the race? I have never been to a NASCAR race and I don't know. Thanks! haven't been to the speedway in joliet so don't know the sightlines and everything, but best location at a race usually depends on your personal preference of either wanting to be "up close and personal" to the action (probably won't be able to see 1/2-2/3 of the track but can better see the pits) or would like to see the entire track and therefore be higher up.
