He was drafted as the closer of the future. Then injuries hit and guys like Hamilton, Burr, Johnson, etc. passed him on the depth chart. Now he may be back in the plans.

It makes me proud seeing Burdi regain his velocity again. He may not hit 100-102 like he use to but compared to where he was for the last two years hitting 93-94 to now back at 98-99 consistently... it is awesome to see.

You were wrong about Teravainen then Parkman and still are now. If Nylander even showed half of what Teravainen did in the playoffs I personally wouldn't be ridiculing him. I saw flashes from Teuvo when he was here when people (including you) and the media were giving him shit. I have not seen that from Nylander. Does he make the occasional good play defensively? Yes and I'm not saying he's a bad hockey player. But for his draft pedigree I don't want to see him be David Kampf out there (who btw is also producing more in the playoffs than he has while also taking the much tougher defensive assignments).

They can maybe push this 6 games but I will be shocked if this goes 7 games. Still though great effort by the boys. Crawford went god mode, Maatta, Caggiula and DeBrincat (despite not scoring with a goalie in net) played very well and Kirby fucking Dach is getting murdered out there and is still going. God I love that kid. Hopefully he won't need surgery on his hand/wrist with all the slashes he's had. Oh... and fuck Max Pacioretty. Dirty little fuck.

Watch both of them turn a double play. Madrigal is quicker on his feet and more precise with his throws. Mendick is like watching a snail. Then add Leury at the time playing SS.. no wonder the Sox had trouble turning double plays at that time.
