  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 27, 2018 -> 12:08 AM) Cousins out for the rest of the season. Terrible. They would've been a nightmare first round matchup for any of the top seeds out west. I was more mad cause he was putting up a historic season for a big man that we haven't seen since Barkley. Hope he comes back. The good news is he isn't as ancient as Kobe when he tore his. Matthews, Gay and notably Dominique tore theirs and came back. Hope the same for him.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 25, 2018 -> 07:34 PM) Lorenzo Cain signed a 5 year $80 million deal with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers forfeit their 3rd round pick in this draft. The Royals receive a 1st rounder for losing Cain. Nothing changes in regards to White Sox. The draft order is below. 1. Tigers 2. Giants 3. Phillies 4. White Sox 5. Reds 6. Mets 7. Padres 8. Braves 9. Athletics 10. Pirates 11. Orioles 12. Jays 13. Marlins 14. Mariners 15. Rangers 16. Rays 17. Angels 18. Royals 19. Twins 20. Twins 21. Brewers 22. Rockies 23. Yankees 24. Cubs 25. Diamondbacks 26. Red Sox 27. Nationals 28. Astros 29. Indians 30. Dodgers 31. Rays (Alex Cobb) 32. Royals (Eric Hosmer) 33. Royals (Lorenzo Cain) 34. Royals (Mike Moustakas) 35. Rockies (Greg Holland) 36. Indians (Carlos Santana) Competitive Balance Round A 37. Pirates 38. Rays (Comp, failure to sign Rasmusses) 39. Orioles 40. Padres 41. Diamondbacks 42. Royals 43. Indians 44. Rockies 45. Cardinals 2nd Round 46. Tigers 47. Giants 48. White Sox Jesus... they are going to build their system in a hurry.
  3. Much better Jeter... much better.
  4. Video of Jim, Chipper and Trevor guys getting the call. Edgar Martinez was 20 votes shy of the hall.
  5. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports....ll-of-fame/amp/ Chipper, Vlad, Thome and Hoffman are in. Congrats to big Jim!!
  6. Great top 10. Love Cease, so props to you guys for valuing his upside as much as I do. Only gripe is Clarkin is too low (definitely a top 20 prospect in my book). Basabe as well.
  7. He talks about the Sox around the 31 minute mark for the lazy guys. BTW, Cistulli is annoying.
  8. ATL, CHA, LA, MEM, DAL all won tonight. Kings and Magic (two worst records right now) play tomorrow so that was a big tank loss right there.
  9. Corey Crawford was in the building for the game so that's good news.
  10. Boogie putting up a legendary game. https://mobile.twitter.com/JeffGurt/status/...648977696907269
  11. What a game. OT about to commence. Jerian Grant putting up 20 and 13. Who saw that coming? Boogie putting up NBA2K numbers.
  12. This is why Tom Brady is the GOAT.
  13. Forgot how dirty Jags players are (although it's Gronk so I'll allow it).
  14. Crow isn't married though.. I know he just had a son as well. I think something is up (Hawks are being waaaay too quiet about it and now it's making sense) but I don't know if it's THAT serious (although obviously who knows).
  15. Wow. Not surprising given the recent poll of NHL and cocaine %. Prayers for CC.
  16. Saw this on another board. Ayton the 3rd prospect now posting about the Bulls (Porter Jr. and Doncic the other two). https://mobile.twitter.com/NotARoleModeI/st...451901189369861 https://mobile.twitter.com/TheRealC_Los/sta...742717962473472 https://mobile.twitter.com/FilhoDoJordan23/...349398610694144
  17. Zack Collins ranked #9 on the top 10 catchers list.
  18. They gave them a run. Think GS put it on cruise control a bit there. Kris Dunn falling on his face and breaking his teeth didn't help matters though. Bulls bench was definitely better than theirs but their starters are just too much. Great game.
  19. Luckily Bowman started the "getting younger" theme in time. They've got guys now that look the part and a few promising prospects in the cupboard, but it's a bit dire from a couple of contracts. If Crawford is indeed done, no excuse not to play the 24 year old Forsberg and see what you have in him.
  20. Bamba would've been ideal back in the early 2000s as a Ben Wallace type player. His offensive game is really, really lacking.
  21. Cleveland in particular is really in a bind. They have a good asset to trade in that Brooklyn pick but do they mortgage their future to make a run at it with LeBron or do they stay status quo and likely get embarrassed by GS and LeBron probably leaves? Not advocating he has that kind of value, but Mirotic (and Holiday in particular) would look really good with them right now. Then again, DeAndre Jordan would be the ideal get for them.
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 11:59 AM) Gavin sheets is huuuuge https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/953323853031333890 (is he 2nd from left?) Yes he is. (on a side note, Not sure I see the weight loss with Burger)
  23. https://mobile.twitter.com/JRFegan/status/9...1417345/video/1 Atta boy Moncada.
  24. QUOTE (Quin @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 11:29 AM) Whitley over Kopech? Seems odd. No kidding. I was shocked even over Honeywell too.
  25. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Dec 30, 2017 -> 08:44 AM) As long as he can keep himself in freakish shape and transposes those physical gifts onto the field, I have no problem with the number of selfies he posts on social media. Looking at (I believe) his gf's IG, looks like he's gonna be a father as well.
