  1. Willy Garcia 43 PA, 4 BB. Tim Anderson 159 PA, 4 BB. And Willy has been robbed of a couple walks already with bad calls.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ May 23, 2017 -> 09:40 PM) Missed it what happened Threw a breaking ball (hung it) to Goldschmidt. He fouled it straight back, then backed off the mound and the trainers came. Wasn't sure if it was his arm or hamstring but he didn't move his right arm when he walked off.
  3. So if Covey is out for an extended period of time, who are we gonna see fill in his spot? Volstad?
  4. I can't put that homer on Covey. That ball is caught in 90% of MLB stadiums.
  5. For as big as Kevin Smith is, he has 0 oppo power it seems.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ May 23, 2017 -> 09:04 PM) Greg must hate him Hell, I'm all for the rebuilding/tanking, etc and I don't like him. At least when Shields sucked last year, he gave you 6-7 innings. This guy taxes our bullpen by the 5th. Even Pelfrey is better and he's usually terrible when the 6th+ rolls around.
  7. I'm still pissed about that Abreu at bat. I hope Moncada is alot smarter than he is in situations like that and it doesn't rub off.
  8. Abreu can be very frustrating sometimes. It's obvious he was trying to walk you and you swing at bad pitches. Show some discipline.
  9. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2017 -> 08:38 PM) Moustakas with his 11th homer now, sporting a 780 OPS. You can bet Boston has him as their #1 3B target (not to mention post-season experience as well). KC is the one team in our division I'm nervous to see sell if they do. They have quite a few assets to teams that they can easily build a farm that rivals ours.
  10. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 23, 2017 -> 08:23 PM) I'll take that bet. Haha there's usually one guy that many have a consenus on every year as a top 10 pick who happens to fall. I'm gonna say he's the guy. Hopefully it's not because of an injury *knock on wood*.
  11. Delmonico just went yard. 3rd homer in 2 starts.
  12. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 23, 2017 -> 08:15 PM) We desperately need a good first baseman that can hit and field well. And I prefer my 1B taller than 5'11 as well personally.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2017 -> 07:55 PM) Tyler White, the guy who started off really hot for them in 2016 and then cooled off quickly and played himself off the roster. Ah. Never even heard his name mentioned in rumors nor is he a prospect. Was wondering where he came from.
  14. OT, but pretty shocked the Nats rushed Stevenson to AAA. Kid is really struggling.
  15. Weird feeling/prediction. I think MacKenzie Gore drops out of the top 10. No basis on it, just a gut feeling.
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2017 -> 06:15 PM) How are Reed and White doing? I'm assuming you meant Whitley? A.J. Reed (just turned 24, AAA) - .276/.379/.454/.832 (14.1% BB, 28.2% SO) Forrest Whitley (19, low A) - 5 GS, 3.60 ERA (2.49 FIP) 20 IP 17 H 8 R 8 ER 4 BB 31 SO (13.95 K/9, 1.80 BB/9)
  17. QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 23, 2017 -> 05:47 PM) His Luis Robert scouting report has jack-all to do with the White Sox, same with Chris Sale, he's a hard-headed, highly opinionated ex-scout with a large platform. Bingo. As fathom said in another thread, he wasn't a fan of Robert months ago.
  18. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ May 23, 2017 -> 05:33 PM) Again you need to remember that Law historically has never cared for the White Sox organization in any way, shape or form. He didn't/doesn't like KW. I believe he actually likes Hahn quite a bit.
  19. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 23, 2017 -> 05:27 PM) Flu like symptoms Probably sick of carrying this offense.
  20. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 23, 2017 -> 04:20 PM) Dude, slow down on the Happ hype. He's no doubt had a fast start to 2017, but he's not a Benintendi prospect at this point. Caulfield gonna caulfield.
