  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 21, 2017 -> 05:02 PM) I think we just killed the M's season...without Cano, they are pretty punchless. Well him, King Felix and like 3 of their other starting pitchers. Amazing to me they were only 4 games under .500 before this game.
  2. Kanny facing old Sox draft pick Matt Ball, whose actually having a good year out of the pen. He's starting today.
  3. Red Sox are scouting him.
  4. Sox are actually starting to get some guys who can throw the leather. Sanchez, Anderson (started off bad, but is improving), Frazier are very good in the infield (minus Abreu although he's gotten a bit better in scooping up low throws). Leury has been solid, minus the occasional blimp, Avi has been passable, Melky is still bad but he's in LF, etc.
  5. Yolmer showing that elite range. 10 game hitting streak for him as well.
  6. Delmonico just went yard again. 2 homers on the day.
  7. It's definitely top heavy, but these next 2 drafts should help solidify the quantity of the farm after the big boys (Moncada, Lopez, etc.) graduate. This is also not counting the potential trades of players on the current roster. In other words, Rick Hahn has a pretty sweet deck of cards he's sitting on. It's up to him and the scouts to make sure it's a winning hand.
  8. Sox get Robert, young guys had great games, and they pound the Mariners... might be the best 24 hours we've had in years as sox fans.
  9. Their position player pitched better than their other 2 pitchers.
  10. Davidson was lucky he didn't strikeout. Thay would've been embarrassing.
  11. QUOTE (Tmar @ May 20, 2017 -> 11:42 PM) .249 career hitter, .256 with Mariners? Yeah I'll pass. You guys have fun with that though Looking at just average. Your better than that Tmar.
  12. Narvaez is a very good pitch framer with balls up in the zone. Down in the zone? Not so much.
  13. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 20, 2017 -> 11:16 PM) Every time I see him I think of Big Frank. He's just about the same size to my eyes. I love his plate discipline. He should have more than 3 walks if it wasn't for terrible calls. Hopefully it evens out. Still a 8.8 BB% before this game (albeit limited PA) is solid for him.
  14. I'm starting to feel sorry for Overton. Sacrificial lamb.
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ May 20, 2017 -> 11:08 PM) Davidson in on the fun. Home run number 8. Tied with Avi and Abreu for the team lead... with about 60 fewer plate appearances.
  16. I'm not saying it anymore. We all get the picture. Avi is just ridiculous.
  17. Might have to start doing an Avi alert like we do with Moncada.
