  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2017 -> 08:38 PM) Moustakas with his 11th homer now, sporting a 780 OPS. You can bet Boston has him as their #1 3B target (not to mention post-season experience as well). KC is the one team in our division I'm nervous to see sell if they do. They have quite a few assets to teams that they can easily build a farm that rivals ours.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 23, 2017 -> 08:23 PM) I'll take that bet. Haha there's usually one guy that many have a consenus on every year as a top 10 pick who happens to fall. I'm gonna say he's the guy. Hopefully it's not because of an injury *knock on wood*.
  3. Delmonico just went yard. 3rd homer in 2 starts.
  4. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 23, 2017 -> 08:15 PM) We desperately need a good first baseman that can hit and field well. And I prefer my 1B taller than 5'11 as well personally.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2017 -> 07:55 PM) Tyler White, the guy who started off really hot for them in 2016 and then cooled off quickly and played himself off the roster. Ah. Never even heard his name mentioned in rumors nor is he a prospect. Was wondering where he came from.
  6. OT, but pretty shocked the Nats rushed Stevenson to AAA. Kid is really struggling.
  7. Weird feeling/prediction. I think MacKenzie Gore drops out of the top 10. No basis on it, just a gut feeling.
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2017 -> 06:15 PM) How are Reed and White doing? I'm assuming you meant Whitley? A.J. Reed (just turned 24, AAA) - .276/.379/.454/.832 (14.1% BB, 28.2% SO) Forrest Whitley (19, low A) - 5 GS, 3.60 ERA (2.49 FIP) 20 IP 17 H 8 R 8 ER 4 BB 31 SO (13.95 K/9, 1.80 BB/9)
  9. SoxAce replied to Jose Abreu's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 23, 2017 -> 05:47 PM) His Luis Robert scouting report has jack-all to do with the White Sox, same with Chris Sale, he's a hard-headed, highly opinionated ex-scout with a large platform. Bingo. As fathom said in another thread, he wasn't a fan of Robert months ago.
  10. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ May 23, 2017 -> 05:33 PM) Again you need to remember that Law historically has never cared for the White Sox organization in any way, shape or form. He didn't/doesn't like KW. I believe he actually likes Hahn quite a bit.
  11. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 23, 2017 -> 05:27 PM) Flu like symptoms Probably sick of carrying this offense.
  12. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 23, 2017 -> 04:20 PM) Dude, slow down on the Happ hype. He's no doubt had a fast start to 2017, but he's not a Benintendi prospect at this point. Caulfield gonna caulfield.
  13. Just devastating. Prayers go out to all of those families. Jist sickening. My heart goes out to Ariana Grande too. I can't imagine what's going through her mind with all this from her concert.
  14. Grienke was just fantastic. 8.2 IP 4 H 1 R 1 ER 1 BB 12 SO And it's over.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 22, 2017 -> 11:00 PM) Not to be insensitive, but the metrics were awful prior to the murder I know. But remember earlier in the year and some ST, he had a family matter. Timmy just didn't look right all year.
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 22, 2017 -> 10:31 PM) Who's going to play SS for the White Sox if it's NOT Anderson? Chill. Alot of players have bad defensive seasons, even the good ones. I doubt he'll be this bad next season. He's started to look like his old self before this game. I think that tragic death he experienced hurt his focus and metrics early on.
  17. Ducks fans are insufferable and their team is a bunch of dirty goons so it's nice to see them eliminated. I can't see them beating the Pens unfortunately without Johansen and Fisher but you never know. This is me assuming Ottawa loses tomorrow of course (although I'll be rooting for them).
  18. Tim was so good defensively last year as a rookie. Disappointing season for him defensively. Reminds me of Frazier first year when we got him.
  19. After all the s***ty pitching sox hitters faced in Seattle, Greinke probably looks like a right handed Kershaw out there.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ May 22, 2017 -> 09:03 PM) Cubs will end up trading Baez and Jimenez (plus) for Archer And then pick up Yolmer for Trevor Clifton once Moncada is ready.
  21. Leury was completely overmatched there.
  22. QUOTE (fathom @ May 22, 2017 -> 07:54 PM) 3 for last 38 for Basabe He was 4 for his last 38. Now 4 for his last 42. (14 K's) Gotta remember he's a year and a half younger than Collins. He can start at W-S next year and still be a good prospect. Basabe usually adjusts in the second half though. Last year in low A he hit .222/.293/.397 (29.9% K rate) in the first half. Second half he hit .292/.355/.493.
