I just don't want Diaz in the deal personally. He's a catcher sure, and I know about him by far the least out of everyone else as a prospect guy (haven't heard about him or even watched him), but he's 26, pedestrian minor league numbers and no power. Not sure about his defense, but he doesn't scream "sexy" or even moderately "cute".

Meadows and Keller fit with what the sox have been doing this winter. Top prospects in BA who are about 23 and younger. I'm just glad Meadows recovered from that gruesome eye injury. Big fan of his. His arm isn't that great, power is meh (although in our park can certainly help there) but that kid is an incredible player with instincts. Too bad they gave up Reese Mcguire though.

Nah Rutherford is pretty damn good. Like raBBit said earlier in this thread, he was actually talked about as a top 3 prospect heading into the draft. Good patience at the plate, (sox are going toward this more) solid contact, good defensively, etc. We'll see what happens with this kid, but keep an eye on Nick Solak as well. Yankee scouts were high on him in the draft as well. And Greg Bird WAS looking very good as a prospect until his shoulder injury. He's up in the air now.
