Love the deal, especially since this means Teravainen is staying up.

Trade deadline is crazy in the NHL already. Already 3 trades and it's not even 8:30 yet. (Potentially 4 if the Voynov rumor is true)

Mirotic looking like a young Dirk out there.

http://m.espn.go.com/general/story?storyId...e%3D27"%7D White Sox Cuban-born first baseman Jose Abreu, who formed a tight bond with Minoso during his 2014 Rookie of the Year season, is taking the news hard and declined all interview requests Sunday. Backup catcher Adrian Nieto, who also was born in Cuba, said Minoso was always there to give a helping hand. "He was always there at games and always gave me and Abreu advice," Nieto said. "I'll never forget the piece of advice he gave me and Abreu: 'Just think you're the best but don't say it or walk around like you are.' I'll definitely take that with me for the rest of my career."

Should be a H.O.F. The guy won't get nearly the same media attention for this as Banks death either. R.I.P. to a great guy.

Alright let's have Rizzo and Fuller get something broken/torn and we'll have all the major chicago teams with their important players set.

Derrick Rose to have surgery on Torn Right Meniscus

That knee should have much more explosion now. He should be fine in his prime years, similar to DWade. -

Got it taken out just like Westbrook did. He'll have arthritis in that knee when he gets older/when his career is done now, but if he's cool with that when he's taking his son to graduation, he should be more than fine for the short term. -

4-6 week recovery per Gar. -
Heh... Viciedo seems like the last player Beane would want with the A's philosophy/style.

QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Feb 26, 2015 -> 01:13 PM) Besides, we can hear Hawk talk about how he LOOKS like Miguel Cabrera but doesn't HIT like him. Pretty sure he looks like Maggs.

Should be interesting to see where AP lands. -
Team Sanchez. Said it since September, but I really like Micah as well. Just prefer the younger Venezuelan who've I admittedly have been high on since seeing him in the futures game turning on a 100 MPH heater for XB.

Rumor is broken clavicle. Teuvo time once again. Man... first DRose, now Kane. What's next... a torn elbow for Sale?

Penny Hardaway.... Grant Hill.... Derrick Rose.. The "What ifs". -
Hope this doesn't affect his bat speed. A more power Conor would be nice to have though. Might get me a little less excited to see a potentially rejuvenated Davidson.

5.5 mil it looks like too. Nice deal for Leddy.

Isles just locked Leddy up for 7 years.

QUOTE (Jake @ Feb 23, 2015 -> 12:58 PM) I've been waiting 11 years for official membership Yea I found that funny too. Especially considering I've dealt with posters far worse than Greg. At least he's passionate about the sox, even if he doesn't make sense 99.9999% of the time. -
He is still looking for the Jays to deal him. http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/...s-to-trade-him/

Pokka, Johns.. any of them would be better than Roszival at this point. Hell, even Oduya has been brutal this year. Then you add in Shaw being our worst forward on the team this year, regular season Bickell, Ben Smith taking 3 steps back, Sharp looking like he doesn't give a s***, etc. and you have a team that is not that elite this season.

Chris Sale just showed up.. with 50 media people surrounding him...

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 20, 2015 -> 09:41 AM) We should hear today just about every player is in the greatest shape of their lives. Well we know Avisail is for sure.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 17, 2015 -> 12:05 PM) I'd be willing to bet that Rose would have improved his passing and defense a ton had he actually been on the court working with Thibs for the past 3 seasons. Rebounds maybe not, but that'd be in part because the Bulls have had Noah and Gibson as their main rebounding guys so Rose would actually be out of position a lot of times to clean things up. Don't get into the rebounding debate with thxfrthmmrs. He's been adamant on that for some reason for a while because Rose isn't Westbrook or Rondo with his athleticism when he has had Noah/Boozer/Gasol etc. big men for years. I remember Zoom arguing with that not mattering for a PG. I have my own opinions, but I generally lean heavily towards Zoom on that debate. I personally still feel VDN stunted his development a bit as a rookie, but that's another discussion.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Feb 15, 2015 -> 12:02 PM) I am sure most of them do. Thing is most of those YouTube dunks take many attempts to before they succeed. And doing it in a competition on National TV is a lot more pressure than dunking at your local gym. Personally I think the new 3 attempts rule is stupid. They should go back to 90 seconds and let guys do whatever they want. At the end of 90 secs, give them 1 final attempt. Oladipo's last attempt of the one hand 360 off a lob could have been special, but he bombed his first two attempts and had to play it safe on the last attempt. No s***. But yea, some do some don't. I don't think any of them really put the research in however. Most will tell you they look at past dunk contest and try to change something from that. I do agree with the changing of the 3 dunk rule as well.
