I wonder if Kris is thinking more about his legacy as well as his wallet. He's got an MVP, ROY, multiple all stars and a WS ring under his belt. He puts up some monster numbers in the next few years there, he is likely a hall of famer.

Bryant is going to absolutely MASH in Coors Field. The Rockies are going to absolutely SUCK in the process.

Whatever Jose decides to do I wish him the absolute best whether it's being with his family, moving on or staying here. He has earned that right. And this also is all the more reason for Vaughn to stay here. Sox will be fine at 1B going forward.

Olson, Rosario, McHugh this offseason and they're still not done. I don't think we're better than the champion Braves. Jays, Dodgers are the only other teams I would definitely put ahead of us (We'll see what Correa does and I'll say Astros too if he goes back). Yankees have taken a step back (so far) and the Mets will always be the Mets even though they have improved. The Rays are the biggest mystery to me. I don't know how they do it. I don't think their roster is that talented overall but they are always so good.

FYI, Conforto was one of those anti vax players at the time.

I'd be shocked if he lasts the whole season to be up for even talks of an MVP.. but I would love to see it.
