  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 05:05 PM) It makes me somewhat happy that enough came through today that it seems the last voters will be the ones who put him officially over the top, instead of a few supers on Wednesday when Pelosi, Dean, Reid, et al. do theirs. Apparently the 5 supers from MT will come out and endorse the winner of the state when the polls close. So, that will OFFICIALLY put him over the top. Update: Oops, I had my time table wrong MT closes before SD. So, once SD closes Obama will be over the top. Update 2: Based on the rate of Superdelegetes POURING into Obama right nw, it's over when MT closes. I think this is planned to FORCE Clinton to concede this evening. If she talks ay time after MT is over, she will be the looser and if she doesnt say Obama is the winner, she will be ROASTED.
  2. The Flood: It's almost officially over. Almost all the Edwards supporters have switched to Obama. Obama is just 14 away according to MSNBC. He'll net that in MT and SD.
  3. Hillary has apparently said this afternoon that she would be willing to VP. hmmm... no.
  4. MSNBC reports Obama is 29 delegates away. Factor in a 55-45 MT split for Obama and a 60-40 SD for Clinton (based on the only recent poll), Obama needs 15 supers this evening.
  5. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 11:04 AM) CNN update on McAuliffe's denial. You have to read beyond the bluster, and see some key words there - that Obama doesn't have the numbers, YET. So of course he is saying this. When he does have the numbers, tonight or tomorrow, you'll see Clinton do some sort of concession. Unfortunately, it will probably be half-ass and petty, like everything else in her campaign has been. She won't endorse. Hilary... JUST... GO.... AWAY!
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 09:29 AM) http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/antichrist.asp awesome. thanks. I submited the e-mail to snopes. Hopefully they can get something writen up that I can send back to this person and "reply to all" the people that it was sent to along with me. The last time one of these e-mails went out, i kind of went off on the sender. I'd much rather have a "outside" source on the issue.
  7. Just had this e-mail forwarded to me,. So many factual errors it's not even funny...
  8. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jun 2, 2008 -> 11:31 PM) Did you guys hear that Bill Clinton was having an affair with Gina Gershon? I must admit, I am impressed. Gina Gershon = Ok, but far better looking than Monica I though Gina Gershon was a lesbian, guess not.
  9. Newest McCain official: President has "near dictatorial powers"
  10. QUOTE (VAfan @ Jun 2, 2008 -> 03:51 PM) Taking those three posts together, I believe we should: 1. Put Konerko on the DL. 2. Bring up Josh Fields, assuming he can actually play, and play him somewhere almost every day. 3. Play Brian Anderson nearly every day too. 4. Play either Nick Swisher or Jim Thome, but not both, until they prove they can hit again (i.e., get their averages above .240) 5. Replace Greg Walker as hitting coach. 6. Look for a bat in the trade market.
  11. QUOTE (DABearSoX @ May 31, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) Chavez or Griffey Jr..... I'd consider Griffey Jr if he was the DH. Putting him in the field increases his chance of getting hurt.
  12. Caption this: Rainn Wilson and Megan Fox
  13. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 2, 2008 -> 02:33 PM) SuperFlood: MSNBC just said the house supers will endorse as a group either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Obama campaign said they are ok with waiting until Wednesday morning to declare victory
  14. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jun 2, 2008 -> 03:06 PM) drudgereport.com has a bunch of stories up hinting that Hill is going to end it tomorrow HuffPo: Hillary Clinton has summoned top donors and backers to attend her New York speech tomorrow night in an unusual move that is being widely interpreted to mean she plans to suspend her campaign and endorse Barack Obama.
  15. Also, Obama has largely ignored MT and SD compared to Clinton/Clinton. He's busy trying to win the general election... the only election of importance since IN/NC.
  16. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 2, 2008 -> 01:03 PM) TPM has a poll giving Hilldog something like a 22 point lead in SD. Probably because she made a "unscheduled" stop to Mount Rushmore.
