QUOTE(whitesoxfan56789 @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 11:04 PM) Who goes down when frank comes back? The odd man out COULD be Willie or Timo. Someone earlier said that Willie had an option left....?

That Roy Williams has got some big balls.
-
Heh.. well you gotta admit... That pic makes it look a little Swimfan-ish.

Quote in the article: Viz a Viz: Friday marked a return to his old stomping grounds for Luis Vizcaino, and a performance that was atypical of his previous Spring Training numbers. The former Brewers right-hander, who came to Chicago in the offseason trade that moved Carlos Lee 90 miles north, allowed two runs in an inning of work. He also provided a moment of trepidation, missing a sign on a pitchout and throwing a ball over the plate in the seventh inning while facing Brewers shortstop J.J. Hardy, forcing Widger to make a lunging stab back across the plate. "We have to get together tomorrow and the next day and get the signs right," said Guillen afterwards. "That happened to me last year, I called the pitchout and we missed the sign but the guy hit a groundball double play and we won the game. But thank God my catcher didn't get hurt and my umpire didn't get hit."

They're making fun of me because I value rebounds more than points in a big man.

Bumped for those who forgot to vote.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 05:42 PM) 5.4 is close to 3? Since when? 5.4 is almost twice as much as 3. Closer to 3 than 10. The man is 7 FEET TALL kids. If I was 7 feet tall I could average 5 rebounds per game playing 35-40 minutes a game. I'm just saying that his production doesn't match his size.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) Garcia is ALOT better than average. His era was higher with us, but he was 10-4 as a member of the Sox. We all know what Hernandez can do when healthy, I wouldn't worry about him too much. I'm with you as far as Contreras goes. I don't know what to expect out of him. I agree with what you said about Buehrle and Garland. Gotta trust the unbiased opinion of a man with the guy in his avatar.

Oakland Starting Pitchers

Saarloos is only better if you need to "buy a vowel". -
The three rebounds was an estimate since the last time I has checked the stats, five is pretty damn close to three. :headshake I don't check the stats, I only watch the games and look at the "W"s. Chandler at 6-10 PPG 10-15 RPG is more valuable to me personally than Curry's 15-20 PPG and 4-7 RPG.

#1 - Buehrle is a given for me right now. 18 wins, 3.50 or less ERA, 150-170 Ks. #2 - Looking at him since the trade, Garcia still seems shaky. Pretty average really. #3 - El Duque is a mystery to me, I haven't seen him pitch this ST. #4 - Contreras really worries me. I would almost be tempted to move him into the number-five spot. #5 - I'm feeling more confident with Garland than I was last year, I think he could handle the #4 job.

I'm not an Eddy hater, but I'm not a fan of signing a 7-footer who gets 3 rebs per game to a 8 mil a year deal.

QUOTE(chisoxfan14 @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 02:37 PM) THANKS!!!! That's not REALLY you is it?
-
Not to get too far off subject, but this seems to be the first draft in awhile where no one really knows what's going to happen in the selection process.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 04:11 AM) I like him and all but he should have the s*** slapped out of him for saying that. Go ahead qwerty, he's a Cubs fan anyway.

Do you think that this will affect the Bulls front office when Curry tries to get a new contract? -

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 12:28 AM) Do you want the Packers to sign everyone? I thought the same thing... And, the answer is probably: "yes". -
The one with the girl in the Paulie jersey with little cutout pics all over her closet door looked borderline sociopathic.
