  1. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 22, 2010 -> 04:26 PM) Well, at least he has had a history of past success, so he's got that working for him. And 23-years-old? He's got time on his side too. He's 24 next month, so his clock is ticking.
  2. http://whenthegiantscometotown.blogspot.co...-14-waldis.html That was before the 2010 season.

  5. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 22, 2010 -> 01:00 AM) Supposedly done for good this time. He'd be a good pickup for the Bills that would allow them to use their 1st rounder on something else, as either he or Fitzpatrick would be able to run the offense. Fitz, the RBs and maybe the WRs are about the only good parts of that team. Their D needs major help.
  6. Ausmus retired to take a job with the Padres. Vizquel re-signed.
  7. PRINCE VALIUM! O HOW IVE MISSED U!
  8. You know... spoiler tags might be helpful.
  9. Flaxx, Hogan... I'll have the list ready by tomorrow afternoon. I may need your input by that evening. Check your inboxes over the next few days.
  10. I'd want a prospect added to Granderson if they wanted Jackson. Then re-sign Garcia.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 09:42 PM) I'll be interested to see if Collie plays...he's listed as questionable but has practiced the last two days. The Colts have really been lucky though the last few weeks, getting outplayed badly but managing to come away 1-1. The Bengals had a FIVE turnover deficit against the Colts and still covered the spread. Teams that are -5 in turnovers in a game are something like 4-127 ATS since 1989. I don't believe the Patriots are especially great either, but I do like them to play well for the second straight week. Houston has not covered the spread in 5 games. Teams that have not covered in 5 or more games and are not favored by 3 or more points are on a 21-1 run ATS right now. The Jets are also sitting in a home letdown situation. The Jets have also been extremely lucky recently, so I am going to play the Texans and expect some of the bounces to go against the Jets for the first time in a while. My God, my picks are awful today.
  12. Too bad that they could have divided a few of the other films into part 1 and part 2. They truncated a lot of book stuff that could have been included in longer films.
  13. Barret Loux signs a free agent deal with Texas.
  14. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) I think we should put flags on all offensive players. As a defender, if you hit too hard, you get penalized. Might as well just play flag football. TOUCHING? How about LaserTag Football?
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 09:02 PM) Pittsburgh -7 Detroit +6.5 Cleveland +2.5 New England -3.5 Houston +7 Arizona +8 Lots of action tomorrow... Indy +3.5 Jets -7
  16. I'd want Peavy gone just because he's a shadow of himself, too expensive, and Sale deserves a rotation spot. That said, he'd be very tough to move right now.

    DAMMIT! NO SPOILERS!
  18. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Nov 20, 2010 -> 01:39 AM) I know Duke isn't awesome, but he's a serviceable back-end guy for sure, and he's two years removed from an all-star appearance. The Pirates are required to have at least one All-Star a year.
  19. Melted brown sugar or syrup maybe?
  20. How about Illinois vs Notre Dame at US Cellular? I know that ND is playing Miami at Soldier Field soon, but to play at the Cell would be cool.
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 04:42 PM) Or possibly in Milwaukee. It's all Cubs fans when they play up there anyway. The scheduling of that would be brutal. The Sox and Cubs already alternate days on the schedule. My concern is unruly Cubs fans tearing up the decor around the park.
  22. QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 19, 2010 -> 05:38 PM) What seemed like a fun idea has turned into a complete clusterf***. Anyone have any pics of the Yankee Stadium layout for tomorrow? http://www.garylsnyder.com/huntingtoncount...ransformed.html
  23. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 18, 2010 -> 07:23 PM) Johnny Damon is far from a "slap-hitter." He's certainly not Thome, Konerko, Fielder, or Dunn either.
  24. They really don't need a slap-hitter guy like him. Pierre's already in LF and Rios is a far better CF. Why waste a DH spot on him?
