Europe
I liked "The Final Countdown", but the rest of their music has been mediocre.

Anyone happy the Padres are doing well?
Why should anyone at Soxtalk be happy that a team other than the Sox are doing well and why do we care? Especially when the thread is in Pale Hose talk.

Who would you NOT want to be a fan of, which MLB franchise is worst?
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 16, 2010 -> 10:32 PM) If that was the #1 criteria, then Detroit would be the unanimous winner. I'd rather live in the Detroit suburbs than on Long Island, in the Bronx, or around Baltimore or D.C. (sorry lostfan).

Films Thread
QUOTE (Brian @ May 16, 2010 -> 09:33 PM) There is nothing I really want to see right now and will just say my #1 queue on Netflix is embarassing. Will not tell. WWE Divas - again?

The new game ticker and box score is awesome!
It certainly drags on my computer less than BobDylan's signature gif.

Gavin Floyd
Pierre's #2 in team hits, leads the majors in SBs and has a batting average the same as Jones'.

Gavin Floyd
I'm surprised that a few people in this thread are still posting after betting against Gavin a few years ago.

Rangers inquire about AJ
Blindfold him, walk him out to the pitcher's mound. Have him get into a crouch and throw to a guy straight on in the direction that they yell at him. Have him take his blindfold off after he throws so that he realizes that he's not behind the plate anymore.

RIP Ronnie James Dio
Taking them out of the context of satire made those lyrics look s***tier than they were probably meant to be.

Rangers inquire about AJ
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 16, 2010 -> 08:54 PM) Salty is having an issue throwing the ball back to the pitcher in AAA. Exactly why you take him off of Texas' hands.

Rangers inquire about AJ
Take Salty and a pitching prospect.

Official 2010-2011 NCAA Football Thread
QUOTE (zenryan @ May 14, 2010 -> 01:54 PM) It will always be a big deal for Miami fans since it was ND who backed out of this series. They stopped the series because it got too violent and personal between the teams and fans.

Official 2010-2011 NCAA Football Thread
QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ May 13, 2010 -> 11:42 PM) Actually Notre Dame's baseball program is pretty strong. They would immediately be one of the top teams in the Big Ten. Oh the baseball team is strong, it just can't always compete with the southern and western teams enough to stay in the top 25.

RIP Ronnie James Dio
QUOTE (Felix @ May 16, 2010 -> 05:09 PM) Dio has rocked for a long, long time, Now it's time for him to pass the torch. He has songs of wildebeests and angels, He has soared on the wings of a demon. It's time to pass the torch, You're too old to rock, no more rockin' for you. We're takin' you to a home, But we will sing a song about you. And we will make sure that you're very well taken care of. You'll tell us secrets that you've learned. Raow! Your sauce will mix with ours, And we'll make a good goulash baby. Dio, time to go! You must give your cape and scepter to me. And a smaller one for KG. Go! Go! Dio! Dio! RIP Dio Those are some bulls*** lyrics.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 16, 2010 -> 06:31 PM) What about beaudoire or bedroom? menage a trois? There are prizes for that, but it has to be MFF and put on video.

QUOTE (sircaffey @ May 16, 2010 -> 01:36 PM) At least Pirates' fans have PNC Park which is awesome. There's no prize for having the most pretty abattoir.
