I don't believe that Alaska is out of the cold. Perhaps you should check out the Baja Peninsula/Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. There are some awesome beaches, nice little towns, and outside of a motor race, it's pretty quiet on the coast.

Wow. That's some free agents. Garza stands out at me there, but Scherzer, Blackburn, Porcello and (LAA or TB?) Saunders might be possibilities as well. I'd keep my eye on Cueto (injury, inconsistancy) and Buehrle (lack of wins and Ks), to see if either one of those guys should be dropped later.
