Where would you move to?

Featured Replies

I was reading shipps' thread about wanting to move to California, and it made me wonder:

If you could move anywhere, where would you go?

For me, it would be somewhere in the Phoenix area (I loved that area when I visited a few years ago) or maybe London.

(Although I think I just romanticize London because of the '77 punk thing - I'd probably hate living there)

What say you? What's your destination?

I'd like to live in Chicago if it wasn't so expensive.

In U.S.: It would be Chicago or California, I love both atmospheres.

International: Italy, in Capri, Rome, or where my family lives near Sorano.

If I really thought long and hard I would have to say New York city.

The Twin Cities (most realistic)

Glasgow

Perth

Copenhagen

Killarney

Seattle or Portland

Some place out in the cold and secluded where I can mind my own business and don't have to worry about anyone else or any undesirables in the area.

Maybe somewhere in Alaska in the middle of nowhere in a nice log cabin.

I don't believe that Alaska is out of the cold.

Perhaps you should check out the Baja Peninsula/Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

There are some awesome beaches, nice little towns, and outside of a motor race, it's pretty quiet on the coast.

In a big ass house in Orange County. I got the place down, now just need to find a way to make the moolah to afford that big ass house.

Seattle

Portland

San Francisco

Austin

Miami

Seattle

San Diego

Atlanta

Ontario, CA - out of state

I said out in the cold, not out of the cold :lolhitting

Either in Northwest Indiana so I don't have to deal with Illinois politics anymore, or out to Lake Tahoe, that place is amazing year round

America - Seattle (loved the city even if it does rain too much), San Diego (preferred it to San Fran) or Phoenix (love the heat, even if the city needs to be developed more). I would say Chicago as I really liked the city, but it's just too damn cold there most of the time.

Europe - London, Barcelona or somewhere in Germany.

London.

St. Louis

Tucson/Phoenix

California

Florida

Arizona

Maine

Asheville, NC

Getxo, Spain

somewhere in the ACT, Australia.

Except for the raging drug war.

Except for the raging drug war.

Well, you can't have it all...

Actually, it's the northern part of Baja that's a part of the Drug War.

San Lucas is in the southern part.

Frankly, I'm not sure there's anywhere in Mexico I'd trust to be right now. The Drug cartels have spent a fair amount of effort specifically targeting Americans for kidnapping. That's not just the northern part.
