Couldn't take it, had to write editorial about Sox coverage
QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 6, 2009 -> 06:28 PM) what the f*** is a quad city? Four cities that make up a metropolitan area. In this case it's Davenport, Iowa; Moline, Illinois; Rock Island, Illinois; and Bettendorf, Iowa; with East Moline, Illinois thrown in.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 3, 2009 -> 06:30 PM) Rumor is USC's LB's have tested positive (excluding Maluga) for steroids and that Percy Harvin had a positive marijuana test. Carrol has already came out and said the reports are BS. Clay Matthews Sr. will kill his son if that's the truth. Not literally, mind you.

2016 Olympics Discussion
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 07:47 PM) Some amount of rubber has actually been used in asphalt for decades. The 1993 The federal Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act required that a certain amount of the nations roads were paved with rubber containing asphalt. California's been experimenting with it since at least the early 80's. The big problem is...it's expensive. Significantly more expensive than rubber-free asphalt. By up to a factor of 2 depending on the exact mix. It would be a good investment for roads that get heavy traffic.
