5 of the elite 8 teams could be from the Big East.- Is Curt Schilling a hall of famer?
He'll get in because he helped the Red Sox win the World Series.- Technically legal ponzi schemes
Whatever happened to good old $1 chain letters?- NIT Discussion
QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 15, 2009 -> 05:36 PM) Notre Dame will make the Final Four in the NIT this year. Book it.- Help with Bonus Draft

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Mar 25, 2009 -> 07:52 PM) Thats funny that you say that though, because the film was redone after a test screening went bad and kids started screaming and stuff. I would have paid money to have been there when that happened.- Huge start tomorrow for Colon
Every start Colon has is huuuge.- Leadoff/2nd hitter in lineup discussion
Welcome to Soxtalk!- Dreams
I had a dream about 15 years ago where I was in a room living somewhere. It was supposed to be my room, but it didn't look like my room. Eight years ago, we moved to a new house, the room that I moved my stuff into was the room in my dream 7 years before. I have dreams like this all the time where I am somewhere that I don't recognize, then years later, I'm actually there. My brain somehow sees into the future when I dream. I wish that I'd get lottery numbers or something...- Sox on Plan D in CF
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Mar 24, 2009 -> 07:41 PM) Owens has the best speed. Andeson has the best defense. Wise has the best offense. This sounds like a job for Dr. Frankenstein.- Is Curt Schilling a hall of famer?
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 24, 2009 -> 04:56 PM) Only 216 wins hurts, over 3,000 K's definitely helps, the 3.46 ERA is kind of on the border. I agree his postseason success probably puts him over the top. Personally, I would love to see him get denied simply because of how big of a Dbag he is. That's DBack.- Screwed up how threads are displayed
The options area underneath the new topic button on top has "Display Modes" - switch to standard.- Trade - Accept or Reject?
Guerrero, in my opinion, is heading towards a statistical downturn. I doubt that he will still hit 30+ HRs in a season consistently. I'd say .300 28 HR 105 RBI isn't out of the question, though. IF he can stay healthy. Also, like you said, Kendrick is unpredictable. Who knows what you can expect out of him in his first full season? Perhaps .280 7 HR 65 RBI 20 SB. I'd take Halladay and Lopez in that trade.- Swaptree.com
Pretty fun site. I'm emptying out my Bookshelf, CD, DVD, and video game racks of my unwanted stuff. You can trade with other people around the country and get stuff that you want. http://www.swaptree.com/- Status of Soxtalk leagues as of 3/24/09

Never Google "big sausage pizza."- Would the Sox retire Tom Seaver's number?
QUOTE (JoeBatterz @ Mar 22, 2009 -> 08:57 PM) Have the Cubbies retired the jersey of Bruce Sutter who won the Cy Young award in 1979 before leaving for the Cardinals were he too won a World Series? Maybe the Nationals can retire the number of Pedro Martinez since he won the Cy Young award with the Expos before they traded him to the Red Sox. Seems a bit goofy to include Maddux when his greatest success was achieved with another team. Why would you want that reminder? Why honor Baines, Fisk and Minoso then? They had success elsewhere as well.- Would the Sox retire Tom Seaver's number?
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 22, 2009 -> 12:23 PM) Greg Maddux won 133 games for the Cubs, which is 11 more than Mark Buerhle has won for the White Sox, and a Cy Young. He's also a first ballot HOFer. The Cubs are totally justified retiring his number. The question to me would be why it even was available to him in the first place?- Who is #82 on the Sox Spring Training Roster
There's no 82 listed here... http://www.springtrainingmagazine.com/cwsroster.html- Midwest Regional
QUOTE (shaneomacfan @ Mar 22, 2009 -> 03:54 PM) I thought Titus was only a Jr. Is he in line to graduate? Club Tril can not die! They have no Seniors on their team. If more than one player leaves early he might have a spot, but, most likely they'll be getting one or two recruits in from H.S. and roster spots will be tough to come by.- Soxtalk Bracket Challenge 2009
Stupid chalk brackets.- Another "Ozzie being Ozzie" article at yahoo sports
