Well what do you expect Loaiza to say?? He isn't going to admit he quit because he would never get a pitching job with anyone if thats the case. Hell he will be lucky to find a job now anyway. lol Its been said over and over that Loaiza tends to be very lazy and I believe that has more to do with this than anything else. He pitched great last year and I bet he thought that would carry him from then on.

Myself, I would love to see Jose on a fast plane to anywhere but here. His HR or nothing and stone hands has worn out his welcome.

I think Gload is a very good stick off the bench and plays a decent 1B when needed. I say they bring him back no doubt!!

Thanks Cheat, nice work on that. So it seems it took Ruth a lot less ABs to get there. Now imagine if Ruth wouldn't have been a pitcher and hit everyday how many HRs he would have had. His #'s are insane.

Can someone look up and tell me how many ABs it took for Ruth to hit his record and then look up how many it took Aaron and is taking Bariod Bonds?? Plus another thing to remember is Ruth was a pitcher for the first 5 years of his career, only hitting every 3rd or 4th day whichever it was. I am just curious about how long it took each of them to hit all these homers. If I am not mistaken Aaron had 1000 or 1500 more ABs to break Ruths record.

This has to be my favorite part of this article...enough of the Valentin tragedy already. Yes whoopie he hit 26 homers and hits with a whopping .223 average and under .300 OBP. Not to even mention about his "Stellar" fielding....Or NOT. I am just tired of seeing the Stonehands show. Hopefully the Sox are as well. NEXT!!

There are way too many questions for this season. I don't forsee the Bears being more than maybe 1 game above .500 if they are even above it. This will be more of a learning season than anything else.

Well the thought on Garland figuring it all out has been stated every year since he has been here. Yes he is only 24 and may get it eventually. Although he is showing more signs of regressing more than progression thus far IMO.

All I know is Morgan can't do playboy soon enough...LoL

My thought on Garland is he has the million dollar arm and the 10 cent head kind of thing. Until he learns how to pitch over mistakes or gets that intestinal fortitude to compete the whole time and stops giving up the big ass inning every game. He will be what he is... a #5 at best pitcher. I myself could do without him on the team. If the Sox can trade him away and get something good for him then Id be all for it.
