  1. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Feb 20, 2013 -> 09:35 PM) Well then, James Harden... That was just sick last night. I'm starting to think he's the best 2 in the game.
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 18, 2013 -> 09:43 AM) I have not enjoyed this season very much. Too many injuries. I've enjoyed watching the Spurs/heat/clippers/nuggets, but the east has been not just sub-par but not entertaining. 1: two best players on the two best teams in the league having all-time season's. 2: Knicks/Nets are relevant again (Carmelo would be the mvp front-runner in most other years). 3: The Clippers, led by the best pg of the last 20 years, a legitimate title contender. THE CLIPPERS. 4:The Warriors having their best year since before I became a drunk. (I love me some Curry. The player, not the indian crap). 5: James Harden, who I used to diss, going from elite 6th man to top 10 player in the game (rockets are fun to watch by the way). 6: Young studs all over the league breaking out (George, Holiday, the aforementioned Curry). 7: Kyrie Irving. The Cavs suck. But I will ignore that for now. 8: The Lakers. lol.
  3. Gotta admit, I'm glad all this Michael is turning 50 aka time to kiss his ass ad nauseum and fabricate old stories s*** is out of the way now. I love Jordan (the player). But damn. We did this in 2003 (last season with the wizards), 2009 (hall of fame induction) before. Let's get back to enjoying what's been a fabulous season to this point.
  4. Kyrie Irving is so spectacular. I never thought he'd become such a lethal 3-point threat at age 20. How many games of college did this dude have? 8? He's already the best non-Chris Paul PG in the game.
  5. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 15, 2013 -> 04:47 PM) Yvette is 34, and she is Cuban. She even looks good there and I don't think she is wearing makeup. In the article Steve posted she is wearing some makeup. Boners, boners, boners 34? Da f***? She don't look it. At least not in that pic.
  6. lol. They look ridiculous together. She can't be anymore than 25. But she is a major upgrade from sex symbol Juanita Jordan. I know MJ cheated on her about as often as I drink. But why? She was/is hideous. Why marry something so barbaric looking when your MJ is what I meant.
  7. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 15, 2013 -> 02:39 PM) I wish he would come back and just play every other game. You know he could. Stop it. I still can't get Michael the Wizard out of my head. 10 years, 585935 cigars, and what looks to be a good 60 pounds later in today's game? No thanks.
  8. QUOTE (Boogua @ Feb 15, 2013 -> 08:25 AM) I feel like the Heat would have a tougher time beating a team like the Spurs or Grizzlies than the Thunder. Unfortunately, the Thunder will most likely make the finals again. To beat the Heat you have to kill them on the glass and beat them inside. The Thunder can't do that. Ball movement helps too (something the Spurs are great at). That's what hurt the Heat against the Mavs two years ago. That and Lebron having the worst finals by a superstar ever. That's where the Lakers with Howard/Gasol were supposed to come into play. But they're not even making the playoffs. Can't see anything outside of an injury that stops the Heat this year.
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 12:42 AM) Even with this efficiency increase of late, LeBron is still lagging behind Kevin Durant in terms of TS% and offensive rating. That's all FT and 3pt shooting (though LeBron is shooting a crazy percentage from deep right now on less attempts per game than he took 3/4 years ago). LeBron will never be the ft and 3pt shooter that Durant is, even though he's a better player overall. I'd really hate to have a say so in the MVP voting this year. Who the f*** do you vote for? Two players having all-time spectacular seasons simultaneously. It's pretty rare.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 9, 2013 -> 03:28 PM) You're a bulls fan who doesn't miss the Jordan era? Maybe I worded that incorrectly. I guess what I meant to say is that the days of "everything NBA was better in the 90's" should be long gone. I'm not just talking Bulls fans. But NBA fans in general. The product we have now is pretty f***ing sick. Say what you want about the new rules. But I love the pick n roll, spread 'em out league of today. I was watching a Bulls playoff game from 1998 and what the f***? I don't remember the pace being so f***ing slow. Nobody ever ran. Everything was half-court. And everybody was mugging each other.
  11. LeBron James has made 37 of his last 47 shots and is now shooting exactly 56% from the field overall. Between him and Durant, I officially no longer miss the Jordan era.
  12. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 11:21 PM) This Denver team is fun to watch The NBA overall is really fun to watch. I haven't enjoyed the league this much since the early to mid 90's.
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 3, 2013 -> 01:19 PM) He clearly wasn't embarrassed enough since he came back to post about himself some more after he got found out. If you want him to go away, you do exactly what the mods did. Otherwise, he'll just stick around and gloat about himself and the 49ers all off-season long. And he totally catfished you J4L, haha. He did. But it's not because I'm an idiot. It's because I didn't care either way. I didn't feel the need to go detective stabler on him once he put those pics up. Maybe in his mind he really is there. I don't know this dude at all. Maybe he's got some issues that not one person here could possibly know about. I guess I'm just saying I don't look at this as "score one for soxtalk" if the guy doesn't end up coming back again.
  14. QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 3, 2013 -> 01:06 PM) He could have had he just used a good proxy located near New Orleans...but he clearly isn't smart enough to do that. Either way, IP information is not exactly private, you broadcast your IP once you go on the internet. You guys didn't give out the actual IP address or anything, so I have no idea what shack is complaining about. It's all just useless semantics. I can see where shack is coming from. It wasn't really necessary to embarrass the guy. He's a loudmouth Niners fan. It's not like he's Brandofan or something.
  15. Wait a minute. So I got catfished by Obama? Or bowlfished? Whatever you want to call it. Oh well. Still pales in comparison to Ursula the seawitch convincing me she was pochahantas.
  16. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 1, 2013 -> 10:49 AM) You really need to check out Zobrist's numbers. He probably would instantly become the best position player on the White Sox. 25.1 WAR since 2009. 3rd in baseball behind only triple crown boy and Pujols.
  17. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 1, 2013 -> 10:23 AM) All the Beckham haters should know that TB would probably take him for Zobrist even-up. This is a greg-like statement in its absurdity.
  18. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 31, 2013 -> 04:22 PM) Oh you doubting Thomases! edit:This post was meant to follow J4L's... Well, I'm a full blown alcoholic. If I'm in new orleans, I'd have no time for soxtalk. As I would be getting drunker than my idol, peter griffin.
  19. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 31, 2013 -> 04:12 PM) Here are some pics of my New Orleans trip Whew. Good to see you weren't making it up.
  20. Damn obama. You now need to show some legitimate evidence that you're actually there. Badger gets on my nerves. But he just owned you.
  21. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 29, 2013 -> 12:20 PM) I've kept myself hidden for far, far too long. I am Frank Thomas. Mr. Thomas. May I ask why you say "no doubt about it" every 3.6 seconds?
  22. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 03:51 PM) He will finally get his MVP award this year. I think so. LeBron is just as deserving. I'll have no problem with either one.
  23. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jan 28, 2013 -> 03:44 PM) I read the other day if Durant maintains his current numbers he'll be the first player ever to win the scoring title while posting 50/40/90 (FG/3P/FT%). Damn, what a season. TSP (True shooting percentage) of nearly 66%. Unheard of at Kevin's volume.
  24. I feel like I go into some kind of trance whenever I watch Kevin Durant play. I've watched at least 20 Thunder games this year. And I stop whatever the f*** I'm doing, including masturbating, when this 24-year old man is on my flat-screen. He's having arguably the single greatest season from an offensive efficiency standpoint the game has ever seen. f*** all that the game is easier for wings/guards, etc. Some of that's true. But there's certain aspects of the game today that dwarfs the 80's/90's, let alone the garbage 60's, when Bill Russell was a beast (scouting, athleticism, etc). I can appreciate how supportive/enthusiastic most of the Bulls fans here are. I can also appreciate what the Bulls have done this year without their superstar. But at the end of the day, this league belongs to LeBron and Durant. They are so much better than everybody else else in the game today, it's not close. Both the Heat/Thunder aren't going anywhere for quite a while. Too bad we couldn't land a Rose/Thibs back in 2002 when it would've mattered.
