  1. Anybody check this out? It's silly as hell but I was entertained. https://grandstandcentral.com/the-next-80-n...im-ad1a78d7a129 2K18 simulation breaking down/predicting the next 80 nba champions. According to this, the Bulls are about to go on a 90's-like run starting in 2023. NBA champs in '23, '24, '26, '27, '28. Again, this is silly and means absolutely nothing. I thought it was at least fun to scroll through.
  2. QUOTE (Da_Goob @ Feb 18, 2018 -> 10:16 PM) Best all star game in years Definitely the best since 2013. Looks like the new format and all the charity money did the trick, at least for this year.
  3. QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 17, 2018 -> 09:26 PM) Solid dunk contest. Some great dunks and some good showmanship and creativity. Not sure it was as memorable as some. Needs more Zach LaVine Lavine, Gordon, Mitchell, and DSJ would be a fantastic field.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 4, 2018 -> 03:55 PM) Had to get back to restoring classic cars More savageness. I actually liked his 49iner passion. But he went ta loco towards the end.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 4, 2018 -> 02:04 PM) 20-17 Pats I hope I win the tickets from SoxObama! Ouch. This was indeed very savage of you. Whatever happened to that dude anyway?
  6. QUOTE (Quin @ Jan 29, 2018 -> 05:55 PM) I don't know if I get this trade from either side at the moment. Unless Clippers can flip Harris and Bradley. Drummond/Griffin should at the very least be interesting.
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 29, 2018 -> 08:06 PM) That pick is 1-4 protected till 2021 (unprotected). And Dan Gilbert with 5-6 of his scouts were at the Oklahoma game a couple days ago to see Young and Sexton so I doubt Brooklyn pick is in the works. It shouldn't be. Gilbert isn't gonna let LeBron fist-f*** him again.
  8. Andre Roberson out for the season. Another huge blow for a western conference contender. Dude is as elite as it gets defensively. The stats and eye test back it up.
  9. It took me two hours to figure out what a TOR starter was. I'm thinking Toronto Blue Jays or some s***.
  10. Cousins out for the rest of the season. Terrible. They would've been a nightmare first round matchup for any of the top seeds out west. I was hoping they would be able to make a trade for some more shooting before the deadline. Doesn't matter now, though.
  11. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 21, 2018 -> 05:06 PM) This is why Tom Brady is the GOAT. It's a good time to be alive. 8 super bowls? Are you god damn serious? I can go to my grave knowing I got to witness the greatest football player to ever live (not close) in real time.
  12. Is there any precedent for what Coach K just pulled off? The three consensus best prospects in one class? Just asking as I don't follow college hoops religiously like some do around here.
  13. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Jan 20, 2018 -> 01:22 PM) wow great article, I might actually watch Warriors vs. Rockets tonight because of it (haven't watched a single game this year) Indeed. And after reading it I'm even more convinced the next three titles are spoken for unless KD or Steph get hurt.
  14. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jan 17, 2018 -> 08:27 PM) Bulls are too tired to actually win this, but first half was entertaining Too tired? I was thinking more that they're playing the greatest team of all-time. That's why they're not going to win.
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 17, 2018 -> 07:01 PM) Hypothetical: bulls are picking 6th. Possible Bamba territory or MPJ falling. The sixers call and offer Fultz, who hasnt played all year due to a made up injury. Do you take it? This is a real good one. I'm not about to dismiss Fultz as a bust. Unfortunate beginning to his career. But I think he's going to be just fine. That said. I'm gay for Bamba.
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 08:02 PM) Bamba would've been ideal back in the early 2000s as a Ben Wallace type player. His offensive game is really, really lacking. It's all the switching, though. Bamba has the athleticism/length/lateral movement to switch/help/recover,etc. How many DPOY'S did Dwight win? Bamba could win more. He has the potential to be that much of a game-changer defensively. I don't care if he only maxes out at 13-15 ppg.
  17. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 07:52 PM) Yeah a really good defensive center doesn’t really do it for me to change a franchise. I’d go Doncic all day over bamba. I wouldn't. Not in this nba. I'm no scout and don't pretend to be. But I think Bamba will be more valuable in the NBA than Doncic
  18. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 07:06 PM) So what's your reading on Doncic, then? I like him a lot. Incredibly advanced for his age. I just wouldn't take him at all over Bagley, Ayton, Bamba, Young and a healthy MPJ. He's got skills. No doubt. But the lack of elite or + athleticism and, imo, limited defensive potential will cap his ceiling.
  19. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 02:42 PM) Lauri is putting up a 22 PER through 8 games in January. f***ing amazing. Seriously J4L...I'm glad you haven't jinxed him and called him a generational talent yet, but he is as much of a generational talent as Porzinkis was at this point in their career arc. I liked him from jump. From college to that euro tournament or whatever you call it before the season started. His skillset is tailor-made for modern nba basketball. And I wasn't wrong on KP. When healthy, he's a two-way terror. But he's dinged up a lot. And his stamina isn't the greatest at times. But his skills at that size? Yes. Generational.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 13, 2018 -> 05:35 PM) Let's see what happens at deadline. Doesn't matter. These idiots keep winning too many games. We'll miss out on Bagley, Ayton, Bamba and Young. But hey, build that winning culture. Because, um, yeah, there is no reason for that right now. This has 2003 written all over it. Sorry ass team but won too many games to have a chance at Lebron, Wade, Melo or Bosh. This f***in' franchise can't do a god damn thing right since Michael left.
  21. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 6, 2018 -> 05:25 PM) The team is real watchable. Dunn is awesome. Dunn has been 16/5/8/2 on good percentages in his last 20 games. He needs to get better from the line but damn. He's been awesome. You really do have to be patient with these kids.
  22. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 5, 2018 -> 07:16 PM) Sure QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 5, 2018 -> 07:26 PM) You already lost son. No chance in hell he goes before Ayton, Bagley and Bamba. By the time of the draft MPJ will be, what, a year removed from his injury? Or at least like 9 months or so. If he proves he's healthy and has a couple nice workouts it's done. And nobody is passing up the next Steph in Young for a dude with "ok" athleticism at the nba level. Like I said, I do like Donic. Dude can play. If this were the 2013 draft? He'd be the unquestioned #1 pick/prospect. But this draft is just too damn good. As far as the bet? Let me think of something good and I will get back at you.
  23. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 5, 2018 -> 07:21 AM) I'd stay far from Bagley. In terms of on the court accomplishments, being the best player on the 31st best team in the world (one that would route any college team by 30) is incredible for Doncic and quite frankly more impressive than any performance in college this year aside from Young. It's funny that some want to cut him down because he's out of sight and out of mind playing overseas. Doncic won't go in the top 4 unless there's some kinda injury. I can guarantee that. Sig bet?
  24. QUOTE (Quin @ Jan 4, 2018 -> 04:58 PM) Only reason is I'd have them all pretty neck-and-neck and don't know if Bagley/Markk pair well. Well, i can live with that. I thought you were saying Doncic was a better prospect. At least i hope that's not what you're saying. Lol. Before porter got hurt he, Bagley and Ayton were the clear 3 best prospects in this upcoming class. Now replace Bamba with porter and you have your top 3. doncic? No way.
