  1. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 11:00 PM) It is comical watching the Lakers' guards try to play defense. They can't stay in front of anyone. Their starting backcourt is a combined, what, 75-years old? Then your next guard is Steve Blake. Not surprising.
  2. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 11:58 PM) This Heat streak is getting a little bit interesting. You figure they'll wax the Raptors on Sunday. If they beat Boston in Boston next Monday, the streak will be at 23. Their next 4 games after that are at Cleveland (no Irving), Detroit (they suck), Charlotte (lol), and at Orlando (they suck). This thing could very well be at 27 by the time they come to Chicago March 27th. Well damn. Anyway, this is it as far as I'm concerned regarding Rose's season debut. If he's too big a vagina to get up for the Heat and their historic streak, he's not coming back.
  3. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 01:58 PM) MJ + Shaq = would also demolish the league, what's your point? The point is it's not nearly as simple as "5 beats 1." You did see the interview, correct?
  4. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 12:29 PM) You don't need to be personally invested in him/the Cavs to see what an asshole the guy was. No one would have questioned him leaving the Cavs. It was the bulls*** parading around the country getting other teams to beg for him that pissed me off. Especially since it was all for show. It was all for attention. He knew where he was going before FA hit. And it's been nearly 3 years now. Cavs fans have the right to be pissed for eternity. Everybody else is just hating to hate. He admitted it was a mistake. Let it go.
  5. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 11:37 AM) I don't think most people have a problem with Lebron leaving Cleveland, it's the way that he did it that made him a douche nozzle. The only people that should care about how LeBron left are cavs fans.
  6. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 11:13 AM) Naw, Shaq didn't care about regular season. Still wouldn't matter. Point is we've seen the best of kobe. There's no higher for him to go. He's no threat (never really was) to Michael. Michael knows this. But Lebron is most definitely a threat. 4 MVPs before age 29? That's too sick. Like dick said, if the heat win this year (they will), it's officially on.
  7. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 10:32 AM) I don't think the Heat would be less dominant if you substituted a 1996-1998 Pippen and Rodman for the current Wade/Bosh. In fact, those guys might have even fit better with LeBron. I still think Jordan is the king, but every year LeBron wins, he gets a little closer. Mike knows it too. His lame reasoning for choosing Kobe over LeBron ("5 beats 1") was so amatuer. A 10-year old could come up with that. It's way more complex. Imagine LeBron with early 2000's Shaq? lol. 80-2 every year.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 09:45 AM) And if the Yankees had a 22 game winning streak going in one of the years after they spent $500 million on free agents, I'd be rooting against them and the system that let them do that too. And if it came out that Jeter was using Deer Antler Spray or whatever new substance the MLB hadn't figured out how to test for yet and hadn't yet banned, I'd be calling him that substances name from that time forward. Being ahead of the rules in a system isn't an honorable way to win. Um, yeah. Sure. Whatever makes you feel better.
  9. Y'all are just haters that can't get over the Decision. To see once thought to be untouchable records, whether it be individual or team, challenged or broken is one of the amazing things about sports. If Derek Jeter had a 48 game hitting steak going, I'm rooting like hell for him to get to 57 and break the record. I don't care that I don't like Derek Jeter. A streak like that would be just too amazing.
  10. This is random as f***. But props to fathom/heads to being the only college basketball fans (college hoops sucks, but i do follow the tourney) on this board that doesn't b**** about the refs every 3.6 seconds.
  11. 26 in a row for the Heat. This is getting REALLY interesting. The only game between now and April 9th that they won't be at least favored to win is the showdown against the Spurs next Sunday.
  12. Yeah, this is pretty cool. Nice, Hizzle. Oh by the way, I got a message from Soxobama. Apparently he fixed a bunch of cars and got paid a lot of money for it and will be out there with you, too. So you won't be alone.
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 12:28 PM) http://wtfismikewearing.tumblr.com/ Holy merry mother of jesus christ and the angels in the name of the almighty allah. I might have to change my user name after viewing this. He's worth like half a billion dollars and this is how he dresses?
  14. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 11:52 AM) It's no secret that MJ wants to own the Bulls. And let's hope that never happens. Michael Jordan in shorts = very, very, very, very, very good. Michael Jordan in suit and tie = very, very, very, very, very bad.
  15. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 11:36 AM) Wilt would still hang today. A lot of those guys were twigs and smaller back then because they didn't have modern medicine and nutrition helping them out. Wilt would roll the NBA right now...and he'd probably f*** it right after that, because he pretty much f***ed anything in site. I agree that Wilt would be fine. But other "great" players from those times? I mean, 6'5 Elgin Baylor averaging 19 rebounds a game? lol. The numbers from times are more bloated than Nicki Minaj's ass.
  16. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 11:24 AM) A player has scored 60 or more points in a game 62 times in NBA history. Wilt Chamberlain has 32 of those. That is stupid. I like to pretend there was no NBA before 1980. Thank god I wasn't born in 1955 and forced into thinking players from those times were great.
  17. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 11:20 AM) I've scored 104 and 98 with my guy in NBA 2k12. The key is - you have to take every single f***ing shot. And you have to get rid of it quickly too. I don't see any way it'll ever happen unless some dude takes like 30 foul shots in a game and makes almost all of them. Kobe is going to get as close as anybody will ever get. Probably in a regulation game. What if there's multiple overtimes? You never know. Nobody thought a player could score 81 in the modern era. They'll be some type of LeBron/Durant hybrid in the future that will get us thinking. Evolution is so awesome.
  18. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 03:49 AM) Can someone just please f***ing beat them so I can stop hearing about it? I hope they break it. I really do. Just like I hope to see someone score 100 points in a game some day.
  19. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Mar 19, 2013 -> 07:02 PM) This is going to end up being a real bad contract extension! Um, why are all your posts one liners that end in exclamation points!
  20. The LeBron dunk over Jason Terry last night was just dirty. 6 weeks ago Durant was my MVP. f*** that. 23 game winning streak and his overall brilliance, LeBron's 4th MVP in 5 years is all but assured.
  21. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Mar 18, 2013 -> 05:36 PM) K.C Johnson ‏@KCJHoop Thibodeau said Hinrich, Gibson, Hamilton and Rose out vs. Nuggets. #Bulls lol. It's about to get uglier than Honey Boo Boos mom around here.
  22. Wait a minute. Badger is with that site, too? lol. no wonder he won't stfu. Oh my goodness. I thought he was, at least in his mind, trying to make a legitimate argument. add badger to the list of those (manti, obama and steve) that shall forever rest in peace.
  23. lol. will 7 pm please get here. I want to see mayhem and chaos.
  24. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 18, 2013 -> 02:09 PM) Was soxobama Steve's source? Nope. It's more than likely it was this fine gentlemen.
