  1. F- for the Bulls. They passed up on better prospects that could help them THIS year for a project.
  2. Looking forward to another year of Keith Bogans as the starting 2-guard on a team with title aspirations.
  3. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 08:05 PM) Basically every draft is mostly role players. There are something like 200 NCAA teams, so about 1000 players start. In the NBA there are 150 starters, its pretty damn hard to break in. The only superstar I see is Irving. Williams has all-star potential. The rest are roleplayers. I'm no expert scout. That's just the way I see it.
  4. Man this draft sucks. All these roleplayers. Roleplayers are for the second round.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:49 PM) Why Juan Pierre? It's become a world-wide epidemic. And only one moron doesn't seem to get it. Ozzie has to be beyond a shadow of a doubt the worst World Series winning manager in league history.
  6. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 04:27 PM) I'm pretty sure quickman's still a member, right? He's one of those guys that stops in about 4 times a year (no exaggeration), posts once, and disappears. I have no clue. redandwhite is another guy that comes to mind when it came to extreme negativity. But he would attack other posters. Especially when they accused him of being a fake White Sox fan.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 04:24 PM) Jabroni (I didn't answer earlier either to taunt you or to avoid bringing his name up). YES! That's him. He had like 5,000 post in 4 months. And didn't he have a second name after that? That dude was hilarious.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 04:19 PM) That's real bad. That's Juan Pierre bad.
  9. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 04:10 PM) Old roman? Beastley ordonez? He had a tasmanian devil avy and a sig that said something like, "Jermaine Dye will you rise from the dead and rescue my White Sox." lol. And how could I forget about jim and quickman? And what the hell happened to rangercal?
  10. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:44 PM) SS2K5? Balta? lol. No, This guy dwarfed those two. f***, I totally forgot. Somebody help me out. He would post EVERY article from Whitesox.com, Sun-times.com, Daily Herald.com, anything to boost that post count.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 04:02 PM) That might be the biggest instant downgrade for a #1 seed in history. (The 98 Bulls werent' a 1 seed were they?) Yes. But that's still no comparison. We know what happened there.
  12. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:56 PM) The stats posted were about game threads. Overall on PHT, you are the easy owner of being the most reliably, hyperbolically negative poster here, of anyone who posts with any frequency. Why do you think people react to you the way they do? Beats me. My venom is always geared towards the team. I'm misunderstood like Michael Jackson was.
  13. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:54 PM) I hope you realize I was talking bout AJ right No, I thought we were talking about negative posters. My bad.
  14. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:24 PM) Begs the question, who has the track re cord of being a total dick and douche..... That would be me (waits for Shack to accuse me once again for making everything about myself). But I'm confident on this one. And it couldn't be further from the truth. Before me there was Brandofan, Poppy Hildago, Santo Dorf. Who was the poster that would rack up, like, 50 posts a day? I totally forgot his name. He'd have easily 100K+ posts by now had he not gotten banned.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:29 PM) They would also give up 60 points a game. And images of the Heat locking up the Bulls predictable (lack of creators offensively) offense are still dancing around in my head. Ask yourself this question: did you foresee the Bulls being the #1 defense in the NBA before this past season? If yes, you're a genius. But I'll assume you didn't. Defense is half, or maybe even more than half, effort. Offensive ability is actual talent. Give me talent over effort in this case.
  16. QUOTE (smalls2598 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:31 PM) His June stats after today: 5 Games: 32.1 IP 9 ER 8 BB 28 K 2.52 ERA 1.03 Whip During that span, his record is 1-2, as the Mariners have only scored 9 runs in his 5 games (the Mariners did win their last 2 games he started, though) ROY should come down between he and Hosmer.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:25 PM) The only current Nick show I can watch is Victorious. Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice = I don't typically go for black girls. But the main character from True Jackson, VP and her Asian sidekick catch my fancy. I think both are 18. That's the criteria for me. Long as I can't go to jail, I'm game.
  18. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:25 PM) No one is saying we need a superstar SG to improve the team. There are a lot of guys who would be perfect fits with the Bulls. Arron Afflalo, for example, is a PERFECT fit. Isn't Denver trying to lock him up? And I want to shoot higher than Afflalo. Rose/Ellis would be the most explosive/dynamic backcourt in the league.
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:20 PM) Your infatuation with her baffles me. Do you watch iCarly every week to get your fix? Yup. I just watched the one where they try to catch her cheating BF in the act of, well, cheating. God that girl is going to be breathtaking when she's 21.
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:09 PM) Jim Riggleman just resigned as Nats manager. Makes no sense, but hey, good timing! What the? Team is hotter than Miranda Cosgrove. Just got their star 3B back. A future as bright as any team in the game. And he resigns? Something must be seriously wrong in his personal life.
  21. I will say all the trade rumors do add some intrigue. This draft by itself does nothing for me.
  22. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 03:04 PM) The Wolves could trade the 2 pick for Josh Smith. Interesting... Just goes to show you the consensus when it comes to how this draft is viewed. Easily the weakest since 2000.
  23. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 02:55 PM) What? People keep looking for the perfect 2-guard. Let's face it: after Wade and Kobe, the position is not that strong. You've got scorers who can't defend and vice versa. I'd rather have a scorer and hope that under TT and his system that they can become average defenders (think Ray Allen, Paul Pierce or even Luol Deng) than another year of Keith Bogans and his 6 PPG or another offensively-challenged SG.
  24. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 02:49 PM) Not sure about the Noah/Ellis thing. I like Ellis, but he isn't a perfect fit on the Bulls whatsoever, and losing Noah would hurt a lot. There is no perfect fit at the SG outside of Kobe Bryant. But Ellis would more than suffice for me. But not at the cost of Noah. I don't put much stock in this rumor.
  25. This will disappoint shack, as I apparently only post (or post A LOT more) when we lose.
